Hi girls! I am Angela ( @crombi ). I am a pharmacist in Portland, OR. My cousin Jennifer told me about GGBC while we were on vacation a couple of weeks ago. I am looking forward to uncovering some new books. I love SciFi, fantasy, suspense, history, nonfiction, mysteries, classics - basically I will read anything. Looking forward to the next discussion!

Heyya. I'm Laura. I started reading fantasy and mythology when I was wee; discovered the Star Trek books about the same time I got my first computer, back in 1982. I'm dyslexic, and fortunately for me, my mother was complaining about me to someone who got an inkling that might be part of the problem, and that computers were a lot of the solution. Whole universes opened up.

Hi my name is Joyce...and I'm a geek. I have always loved sciFi, urban fantasy books. I love gadgets and my hubby buys me electronics instead of jewelry because he knows I'll be using it all the time. Nice to know there are other geeky girls out there...feminine and smart!
Hey all! @AmandaHall25 on twitter. Geek mom and raising my 3 little girls the same way. I love reading and I can't wait to jump in and get started!
Tasha here. I'm on Twitter as adventure_chick and also follow GGBC on Facebook. Loving the book club!
Hello guys! I'm Chantell, and @PixelPrurient on Twitter. It's a pleasure to meet all of you and I look forward to participating in this book club. :D
Hi everyone. I'm crap at introductions, so I'll just say that my moniker around here is A., but feel free to call me Aster. I'm in my early 20s living in Washington state, being a professional tutor and newly-christened wife/doggy-mom. Also, I'm exceptionally happy to be here! I welcome discussion and debates and questions and friendliness.
Aster! Where in Washington are you? There are several of us from Olympia to Everett, and we try to get together in person. If you're able, we'd love to have you join us!

Hi everyone, my name's Alesha and I'm a former English teacher who loves reading, writing, and (of course) geekery. I'm a mom of four and...married to a geek :-DMy twitter: http://twitter.com/The_GrayTower
Hello! I'm Hermione (yes my real name!)...I live in London, UK but currently visiting family in Malaysia until January :)
Twitter @hermioneinc
I should be getting the new kindle papaerwhite so will be able to read more books :)
Hi There! I'd like to join to. I'm an Electrical Engineer and love sci-fi, but I'll read just about anything too.
Hi! I just finished the first novel in the GOT series and I'm dying for more. I'm Emma Katherine, but I prefer Emma Kate and I just joined twitter so my account is @EmKaWilliams. I'm looking forward to being in this group and meeting all of you guys :D
Hi, everyone! I'm @Soyokaze42 on twitter, though I don't really post much there. I've been a fan of all sorts of books for ages, though I'm really big on fantasy and horror for the most part.
Hey everyone, I'm Ashley and @amarie0788 on Twitter. I love to read fantasy and historical fiction mainly, but enjoy scifi as well. I currently work for the Death Star (errr AT&T) and live in Colorado.
Hi, my name is Kelli, @SuperADHDmom. I've been having a hard time finding books I enjoy, but I'm starting the GOT series this week. I love fantasy! I'm currently having my seventh graders read The Hobbit. Many of them love it, but some of them don't get it. What's not to get? So frustrating. Anyway.
I'm really looking forward to reading some good books this year!
Welcome Ashley and Kelli! ANd Kelli, thank you for letting your students get to read such an amazing story!
Hi! I'm Angie, don't have a Twitter account but at least I'm on Goodreads, right? I currently live in Ohio in a book-filled apartment with my uber-geeky boyfriend of three years.I'm a big fan of fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and some young adult, plus I just started getting into steampunk, but I'll read almost anything.
This is the first time I've joined a book group aimed at geeky females, so I'm looking forward to whatever you guys have planned. :)
Nicole wrote: "Welcome! Hope you love reading with us!"books! uber-geeky boyfriend! Scalzi adjacent! Very promising. Welcome, Angie!
Well, I'm new to this group too. I suppose I could say I'm a geek, I like Doctor Who and Star Trek and all that stuff. I like science fiction books the best. Nothing really happens to me.
Hi I'm @andallshallfade. Mother of two, wife of one. Love Star Wars (I don't talk about The phantom menace though) and huge LOTR fan, wrote to Peter Jackson twice complaining about differing from canon. I read constantly and my kindle Namo is never far from my side. Proudly raising my kids to be geeks too. Proudest moment was my 6 year old son giving me the "live long and prosper sign" when every other kid was waving to his mum in the nativity play.

Hello all! @Magpie_666 here. I'm from the UK and am really looking forward to reading some fantastic books! I'm in a book club in my local town and the book choices vary massively. My choice is 'Flowers for Algernon'.
Hi all! I'm a 31 year old wife and geek mom to 3 little girls and raising them to be the same! (We just got home from Dragon*Con) I love reading but in the past few years I seem to have taken less and less time for myself and haven't read as much as I would like, so I'm joining in here in the hopes that I can back to my roots. :)AmandaHall25 on twitter and thecraftjunky on Instagram and I also blog over at www.thecraftjunky.blogspot.com. I can't wait to jump into a good book!
