The Title Game
three cups of tea: one man's mission to promote peace...one school at a time - greg mortenson(anything?) =>
a man, a can, a plan - david joachim(yes i actually have this cookbook - it was a sweet gift from my then nine year old son just trying to help out a mom with a busy schedule.)
The Town That Forgot How To Breathe - Kenneth J. Harvey(i think i may have used this one before on this thread... I do a few of these, and can never remember. Sorry If Im repeating!)
Rags to Riches (Sweet Valley High, No 16) - Pascal, Francine...( I cannot believe I had to put this one down. When I was in grammar/middle school, i was obsessed with these books, I wished I was a twin...)
The Ordinary White Boy - Brock Clarke( I am so jealous... I love Strawberry ice cream! I was half brain wracking, half putting my 4 yr old to bed...)
Crashing Through: A True Story of Risk, Adventure, and the Man Who Dared to See - Robert Kurson(havent ever bought this, but thought about it time and time again. Its non-fiction, I cant bring myself to read those. But it sounds half-decent....hmmm...)
The Catcher In The Rye - J.D. Salinger( well, I look it up, but I really do think it sounds interesting... :P )
Confessions of a Shopaholic - Sophie KinsellaLori... you could have done something else by Agatha Christie, I think! :)
I, Lucifer: Finally, the Other Side of the Story - Glen Duncan(wow, i have been waiting ages to pull this one out! Phew!)
The Last Day - Glenn Kleier( I may be playing this too much, I think I may have used this one before too)
:(
The Raven And Other Poems - Edgar Allen Poe( I went to his gravesite this yr in Baltimore. Weird church he is buried at!)
Seths the man... Oh Yeah... Seths the man (me, standing in front of the pc, doing the cabbage patch for ya!)
Seth, I was almost brought to tears. That was beautiful....I too want to thank everyone who participates. I added this thread to the group just for fun. I had seen it on other websites before, and it never really seems to pick up or go anywhere. And I thought it was a really cool idea! So it really makes me smile to see people like Seth - who kicks ASS at this- and Patrick - who reads the most strangely titled books Ive ever seen- go head to head, and humore little ole me and my cheating/title searching ways, just to remain somewhat in the game!
Knock em dead, and like Seth says, everything is Editable....(is that even a word?) so hop in and get messy with the rest of us!
-- sorry to steal your thunder Seth!---
I have enjoyed this thread as well. It added many titles to my list of books I want to read now and forced me to dredge up some titles I had not thought about in a long time. Good work everyone.
I pretty much only read non-fiction. I think all of these fiction titles that everyone else posted are really strange, and I can't imagine what those books are all about. So is this game over now?
