I would like to stroll around in that time period dress but what I would enjoy would be either a carriage ride or riding horses anywhere with my date...if he wore that time period costume of course.
yes, now you are talking. A nice misty shower every once in a while, to take the humidity out of the air. And also a lace parasol when the sun does come down too brightly. And it would help if their was a carriage or brougham nearby to whisk you away to Pemberley when you become peakish.
