Savannah Haha, i finished this book the other day. And i absouletely loved it, it was just as good as If I Stay, maybe even better. Seriously well written.

...But did anyone else cry while reading either of these books??I'm not afraid to admit i did. Not all the way through. But at different stages. Like when Mia and Adam were on the Brooklyn Bridge and she admits why she hated him..."because you made me stay".

Hmm...so did anyone else get a tad emotional?...that's the million dollar question today. :)

Cass I got real emotional at that part too. For "If I Stay", for the most part I felt the same numb expression that Mia felt as she drifted between the living and dead, sifting through her memories. And then I cried later on . . .

I read "Where She Went" through Netgalley - now that my finished copy has arrived I hope to reread it and see if I feel differently about it.

Savannah Yeh, i agree. I had the same feeling in 'If I Stay'...just numb. I cried at the very end though, when Adam came in and said that he would do anything as long as she woke up.

I hope you enjoy your finished copy... :)

Cass Yeah. As well as when we find out that Teddy doesn't make it. I think I cried a bit then, because that for me, was when she started thinking about how she could possibly stay.

The finished copy is so pretty. I wish it matched with the US HB. It's not even the same material. :P

Savannah ooh, gosh...when Teddy died. That was sad, because like you said she starts thinking about how she could stay, especially now she knows that she is the only one left. I really would have completely fallen apart if i was in a situation like that.

Haha, yeh...it is pretty. I love it. Have fun reading.

Maricela omg... I couldn't stop crying and to be honest it was right at the part where they were talking on the Brooklyn Bridge, oh and when they were at her house (will not spoil). I felt so bad for Adam... and I must confess... I am in love with him!

Savannah Haha, fair enough. He is an awesome character. Oh, at the house was sad as well, the pictures etc etc(i'm not going to spoil it either). You couldn't help but feel bad for him.

Maricela Yes, the pictures, but also when he found her by the bed... do not want to spoil.

loved this one as much as the first one
so emotional hahah

Savannah mmm, definitely just as good as the first if not better.

Maricela I liked this one better than If I Stay... I loved reading it from Adam's point of view.

Sara Am I the only one that didn't like this book? They walked around the city and talked. Both of them got everything they ever wanted except eachother. Blah

Well, i really loved the book. But i guess everyone has different opinions...i don't know.

message 14: by Sara (new) - rated it 3 stars

Sara It was very well written, I think that it didn't overcome the genre like the other one did.

Savannah Ahh well, fair enough. :)

message 16: by Sara (new) - rated it 3 stars

Sara There are books I think suck and books that just don't work for me. This one didn't suck I just didn't like it. The first book was so good that I'd recommend it to anyone, I wouldn't say the same for this book.

Savannah Yeh, i get where your coming from. It's the same for me sometimes. Some books you like, others you just can't click with. Whether they are a part of a series you've been reading or just a random book. I don't know....I guess, say with me, sometimes i'll be reading a series of like five books. And i'll absouletely love four but there will be one that i just don't like, or it doesn't live up to my expectations. So, yeh. I really liked this one, but hey, i guess not everyone will. :)

message 18: by Fareeha (new) - added it

Fareeha this book was so good... i couldnt stop crying especially where her bf brought her the music.. and when her granpa was talking to her.

Maria I loved Where se Went! It was really amazing, I loved it! :D I loved how they have all this things that are only theirs! I fell in love with Adam!

Savannah haha...yeh, i know it is awesome. :)

message 21: by Leslie (new) - added it

Leslie Absolutely loved this book, lol actually I cried :)

Debra Driza I actually liked Where She Went more than If I Stay, because I connected more to Adam as a narrator. Definitely some emotional parts in there!

message 23: by jenn (new) - rated it 4 stars

jenn reads fiction i was choked up like 90% of the time. I liked it more than If I Stay though. I really liked reading it from Adam's perspective. I hope there isn't a 3rd one, JUST because I love how it ended.

Kassy I cried while reading this book.

Kimberly i didnt get emotional but i thought it was sucha cute boooook <3

Autumn This book actually made me more emotional than the first and the ending was so perfect...

message 27: by Jennifer (last edited Aug 20, 2011 01:46AM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Jennifer I cried so much even more than the first! Adam broke my heart! I was so upset that Mia broke up with him and never kept in touch at all. I lost my shit! as Adam would say but glad the way everything worked out!

Daniela I didn't cry but I felt so bad for Adam. I got so mad the Mia didn't at least call Adam to say it was over between them but I'm glad the they got back together at the end.

message 29: by Liz (new) - rated it 5 stars

Liz I definitely lost my shit more than in the first book, and much earlier on. Adam was gutted, devastated. He loved her so much that being without her ruined his life. Closure is so important for people, at the end he had it, was ready to move on, but thankfully Mia and Adam realized their love was something worth fighting for. Excellent books.

Laura LOVED THIS BOOK!
My heart almost tore for adam (which means a lot because i never get emotional in books)...Loved the ending!

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

I honestly didn't like this book as much as the first one.
I'm glad they got together in the end though.

message 32: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 19, 2011 10:15AM) (new)

i liked this book way better than the first one. there were more things going on. and in the first book it was just in the hospital or an introduction of stuff.

Jenny Savannah wrote: "Haha, i finished this book the other day. And i absouletely loved it, it was just as good as If I Stay, maybe even better. Seriously well written.

yes i cried to specially on that part. i cryed in both books. Its kind of hard not to cry at some parts, specially the bridge scene. i love these books.

message 34: by Jenn (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jenn I cried like a baby in both books!

message 35: by Zoe (new) - rated it 5 stars

Zoe Both books made me cry. The emotional content is so great! This is definitely one of my favourite series. :D

Melisa I finished both books in a day. They were easy reads(bec they're short), but I've had quite an emotional roller coaster ride going on there. If I Stay made me sad, but Where She Went made me sad and everything else.

Andrez I don't think it's possible to read If I Stay or Where She Went without getting emotional

message 38: by Summer (last edited Aug 20, 2011 12:33PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Summer I definitely agree. A big part of its charm was its ability to make one feel such vivid and strong emotions and bring tears to one's eyes. Really, that is a treasure. Not many books can truly touch any longer, so much is cliché and overdramatic.

Rose 📚🌹 I cried when I read how hard Adam had to survive after Mia left him. It hurts :( :(

Claire I cried whilst reading WHERE SHE WENT, not so much in IF I STAY. Both were incredible books though!

message 41: by Kay (new) - rated it 4 stars

Kay I love it! Though I prefered the first book just a teensy weensy bit more than the second book. Also yes, I was holding back tears.

Tasha I was nothing but emotional while reading Adam's story (everytime I read it), which is not my usual. I LOVE Adam!!

Delaney I WANNA READ THIS!!!! going to wait for the library copy cause buying it is like $11 or something on amazon and that's paperback.... i think.... oh wait!... $12. yeah... so i'm gonna a wait. hope it's something worth waiting for. :)

Rahmat I sort of got emotional, when I saw how different Adam was in the story, and how they weren't together. SAD!

Delaney i finally read it and it was WONDERFUL!!!

message 46: by Samm (new) - rated it 4 stars

Samm Woodcock I balled like a baby:)

message 47: by Mary (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mary Prince It was absouletely A MASTER-PEACE it was wonderful, I keep carrieng the book to the school and read it while I'm studying in the house, I keep faighting with my self to complete studying without looking to the book every 10 minutes ! I THINK I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS NOVEL TO THE REST OF MY LIFE.

message 48: by Lily (new) - rated it 5 stars

Lily I am totally in love with it!
Amazing book!!!

message 49: by Ann (new) - rated it 4 stars

Ann Landiza I didn't really cry while I was reading the book but, I kinda had an after-reading-reaction HAHA It was after I read the whole thing. It was a reaction that kinda like- whenever I'm about to close my eyes and sleep I kinda see them in my head and started thinking about Adam and Mia and everything that had happened in the book.. xD But, anyway- I love the book so mucho! <3

Chelsey i cried when i read both of the novels. they sort of suck me in so i felt what Mia and Adam was feeling.
