Across a Moonlit Sea, by Marsha Canham

Try BWB, that's where I got it: they have it at $3.98 (used)! And it should be fast delivery for the US.
I believe I have it on my nook. I would love to read it but I am such a slow reader I would be left in the dust. LOL
I could always get a head start. hehe
I could always get a head start. hehe

Hahahahahah I read and reread pages over and over again..... soooo it depends. Hee heee Depends.... get it.
Sometimes I cant sleep and I read a lot and other times .... well I never counted pages and also my nook is on the large print so I don't have a clue. It looks like I am not even making a dent in a book sometimes.

I don't even know how Kindle locations actually work! I have one and only use it when I travel..
Wow that would be great! But I only know how to turn my nook on!!!!!!!

Okay how many chapters a day. I am up for that.

That sound ok?

Lol Lisa Kay, I wish we had English bookstores around here, although it'd probably be a massacre if they had one and I knew about it:-)

We just need to get everyone's reading speed noted so we can set the number of chapters to read every day:-)
WHen do we start?
I am reading days of gold right now.
I am reading days of gold right now.

BTW, Faithmarie, how many chapters can you do a day?
3 or 4 or more if I have to.... I just won't do any house work or visit the grandchildren.... tee hee

It's funny- I have control over my spend on books but once I start one it's like a box of chocolates- very difficult to put down. I couldn't do the discipline of a set volume to read a day.

Lol, it's my first buddy read, and I almost always read a book straight through as well, so I don't know how I'm going to handle the waiting:-D
BTW, worse case scenario, we could always just say that we have to read the book in a week, then meet up and talk about it when we're all done (different option)

Anywayz, the
I see there's been a lot of discussion about how many chapters to read a day. I'm fine with most anything, unless I get a terrible migraine. I have pills & shots, so I should be alright.
Another option, for those who want to read ahead, is to just not discuss the later chapters in the book. This may be hard for some people who can't
Oh, I soooo excited!

I am fine with that. I am ready. So we start around 4/12?
Lisa you are hilarious!

I'll wait to post the breakdown until we see if anyone else wants to join in! I know Autumn is interested, but I don't know her work schedule.
P.S. Faithmarie, You're pretty hilarious yourself. (view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

BTW, can't keep this to myself: I'm so psyched, I might have found a really cute appartment in NYC for uni next year!!:-D Just found out tonight! Cross your fingers for me!

And "my" apartment would be only two blocks from Barnes & Noble!!!! Just checked bookstores close to the address:-D

I can read the entire book in a day or 2.

"

Oh man you young'ns have all the fun!

Man, I can only imagine the massacre:-) It would be so groovy to actually shop with a fellow booklover!!! Warning: I can spend hours browsing if you let me:-D (I've already been to the awesome Columbus C Borders, and would love to go back)

A couple of us want to start a "buddy read" for Across a Moonlit Sea , by Marsha Canham. I've never read anything by her, but this one, with a swashbuckling heroine, sounds good.
Anyone wishing to do so, can join us. We haven't set an exact date, as I waiting to see if I can purchase it in paperback. However, it probably will be within the next week. It is available now, via Kindle, for $6.99.
We will probably set a certain about of pages or chapters per night, going as slow as the slowest reader; however, this is not set in stone.
We may or may not have specific discussion questions. We’ll play it by ear.
Hope you'll join us!
