Don't you get the feeling that Erik has turned from hot to just plain annoying?
God he turned into a complete jerk! And then he tried to make her feel sorry for him?!?!?!?! Just punch him in the face.!

I feel this is what happens when authors don't plan out their series. And now that the series has grown from 5 books to 12, they are just throwing crap in to write more books and make more cash. Almost every character is not how they were originally created. The authors are now aving to contradict themselves in order to fit in any new idea that just happens to pop into their heads.

That part was cool... but I smelled some of it coming. I've gotten bored with the series. To be honest the supporting characters are more interesting to me, Stevie Rae and Aphrodite namely.
In fact, it reminds me of those reality shows where some millionaire is trying to find love then when you least expect it they bring back an eliminated contestant...

yeah. i do have to agree. plus the fact that you know in the next one she will probably cheat on stark (again) with heath once she finds out that he is who he is. which kinda makes me mad, cuz stark is awesome, and the best guy shes been with, and shes finally happy with him.

That really doesn't make any sense. Like... at all. Btw, is Kalona still alive?
Rose I'm not that far yet, I'm only at Burned and frankly I'm burned out on this Zoey love triangle. It hurts the story. I wish she would have just picked one and lets move on. Let Erik and Heath find an alternate form of happiness with some other chick. Leah may know more than I do and if she spoils it, I don't really care. Would save me some money.This series might have worked better if they moved away from Zoey and look at each of the main characters love lives, then link them all in some great conclusion and final battle.
She's going to end up with someone we least expect and will most likely be disappointed with. I don't like any of the guys really.
Oh yeah thanks for the add Leah. I'm new to good reads and just now trying to compile every book I've read and ... I'm getting pretty old now so I don't remember half of them. he he he... Glad to have a new friend on here to discuss lit with.

lol it doesnt make too much since really. and yes kolona is still alive, hes just under neferets hold cuz he didnt officially kill zoey like he was suppose to, by shattering her soul completely, and/or making sure her soul didnt get put back together in time to come back to life.. but shes back. and hes still alive. but because he didnt fulfill his promise to neferet to kill zoey or whatever you wanna call it he is now under her power. but not really! cuz now stark has a little bit of kolonas immortality by kolona bringing stark back to life because zoey and nyx said that he had to. now hes not fully immortal therefore she doesnt have full control over him but she just doesnt know it yet. and kolona doesnt want to tell her till the time is right. my guess is hes going to some how end up saving zoeys life from neferet and she'll be like "wtf?! how'd you do that?" and kolona will be all like "that was nothing witch, you got nothin on me." and neferet will be all like "NOOOOOOOOO" (with a deep slowmo voice. lol)
with all that said!! its worth reading. i liked it, minus some stupid stuff, i mean, every book has stupid stuff. but its deff worth reading. i loved burned. it was really good, i thought. and i am looking forward to the next one! :)

I dont think he's turned annoying. Zoey cheated him when they still were a couple and constantly thought about Heath. It was not Erick's fault at all but i do agree it is the author's fault for wanting more than a mere triangle.
