Interesting accounts by a few authors whose books have been turned into e-books without their permission and with no remuneration.

Fascinatingly, a couple of the authors on the nielsenhayden discussion --allegedly-- have found that Amazon is not interested in removing the plagiarized/bootlegged version.

I have not joined in the conversation, although Amazon has infringed my copyright at least twice (but I am not aware of any third party putting up my books).

In the case of Insufficient Mating Material, it ought not to be available even as a hidden backup for Kindle readers. They should have been given their money back, and the infringing e-book should have been deleted permanently.
