Moloch | 3975 comments I have to add an audiobook for the first time and I'd like to know if I have all the infos needed.
I know
- title
- author
- publisher
- publication date
- narrator
- composer
- description
- language
- format

Unfortunately I don't have the phisical object at the moment, but I think I can find the duration somewhere: my question is, in which field do I add it (pages?), and in which format (hours? minutes?)? Also, do audiobooks have ISBNs?
Thank you

Vic (vicaet) | 16 comments I've added plenty of audio books. I've never added one with a composer (not that that means yours doesn't have one). I make sure author is listed first and then reader(s) are listed after using role of "Narrator" or "Reader".

I make sure to indicate if audiobook is unabridged or abridged in the Edition information. Number of pages on the edit screen = # hours of the audiobook rounded up (i.e., 13.5 hours = 14 pages). I also add audio length details to the top of the description to indicate # of CDs / audio length if you can find that information.

Most audiobook editions should have ISBN numbers. You should be able to find this information from the audiobook publisher or a reseller. Audible editions that I have added I've used the ASIN number listed on amazon.com.
