Interview with real life characters from The Help

Stumbled upon this interview tonight on NPR's "The Story." It's an interview with a white southern woman and the black southern housekeeper she grew up with in Jackson, Mississippi. They both read "The Help" and are talking about their real life experiences.

Thank you for sharing that, very interesting! I'm sure there are many stories out there with shared experiences. I wish someone would address the colloquial language of the maids.

i agree! especially being from the South, the dialects are something i'd be particularly interested in.
