OMG I like Willow Shields but she doesn't, like, exist on Wikipedia, meaning she hasn't made a name yet.
How old is she?

Olivia (oerose) | 242 comments No idea. She looks like maybe 15 or so...

But older actors always play younger people. Ex. Zac Efron was, like, 21 when he played a junior in High School Musical. I think actors look younger on the screen

I suppose your right but it just won't look so real. LIke you can tell when an actor really is young and when they just look young. Like if the actor for Prim is 18, we would be able to tell.

BTW I think the premier date is March 23 2012

literally one of the best fan mad vids I ever seen. No joke. These actors should've auditioned.

Is it that one with Rue and Katniss? I've seen that one. It was amazing!

Just thinking, Who would want to play a future dead tribute. oh, and you know how some of the tributes were naked in the chariot things? Well, do you think they'll actually do that?

message 74: by Olivia (new)

Olivia (oerose) | 242 comments You bet they will.

message 75: by Katerina, ARE YOU WATCHING THE OLYMPICS?!! (new)

Katerina (klymene) | 1096 comments Mod
Yes, you have a point. I suppose they'd be kinda like the backup singers in High School Musical. Not that I like that show, I despise it, along with Twilight.

message 76: by Olivia (new)

Olivia (oerose) | 242 comments DOWN WITH TWILIGHT AND HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!

message 77: by AJ (last edited May 01, 2011 06:16PM) (new)

AJ I think she might be talking about how the Tributes intended to die will be like the back-up singers, not the loin-cloth idea.

Also, about being a Tribute who will die, countless actors sign up for characters they know end up dying.

Boromir (Sean Bean) - The Lord of the Rings
Jesus (Jim Caviezel) - The Passion of the Christ
Leonidas (Gerard Butler) - 300

It's actually pretty common.

message 78: by Olivia (new)

Olivia (oerose) | 242 comments You have a very good point.

message 79: by Olivia (new)

Olivia (oerose) | 242 comments And besides, if they get payed well, I don't think it really matters to some actors if their characters die or not. Plus, this might sound weird, but I think it might be fun to die in a movie. I saw a TV show being filmed once, and it took 2-3 hours to film a certain 30 second scene. If you died a really bloody death, the make-up would start looking bad and, between groans of pain, you would get to talk with fellow actors while drenched in fake blood. What an experience.

message 80: by Katerina, ARE YOU WATCHING THE OLYMPICS?!! (new)

Katerina (klymene) | 1096 comments Mod
But in the passion of Christ, that was a leading role. But you do have a point. My point was that the dying tributes wouldn't have many lines. Well, except the scream of death

message 81: by AJ (last edited May 02, 2011 01:39PM) (new)

AJ Yeah, that's true. For young actors looking to break into the movie industry, though, they'll pretty much take any role they can get.

Especially in a movie like the Hunger Games, which will probably draw some national attention. I'd be willing to bet one of the 22 Tributes who die will use this film as a springboard for their career.

I suppose.
I'm probably going to forget about this movie by the time it comes out. By then, the Mortal Intruments movie will be casting and I'll probably be following that.

AJ I can't believe we have to wait until 2012 for it to come out!

That's an amazing song too, my all time favourite. Howard Shore is a musical mastermind.

Olivia, I think you should read it again because a third grader cannot really understand the story as well as a, say, 7th grader. You seem like your in middle school or around there......

message 90: by AJ (new)

AJ She seems a little older to me, I'd guess you're in High School?

(Or whatever its called in the USA ;) )

Olivia (oerose) | 242 comments Uh, yeah, I'm in fifth grade. =P And let me just say, my mom corrected me last night and said I was in fourth grade. Honestly, I didn't understand it either, but it was my first book report, so all you had to do was list the main characters, write the setting, and draw a picture. ;) So... yeah.

message 94: by AJ (new)

AJ Wow, I always thought you seemed much older.
