A Kid Named Megan☮ my god it was crazy.
i can't believe the ending.i was in a daze for a week lol.

A Kid Named Megan☮ yea it was great.

i mean ofcourse it's not like her other books;it's not apart of the series and it's just amazing.

Eva-Marie Nevarez I love all of her books. She got me into verse and that still shocks me. I love the Kristina books far better than the others but she doesn't have a bad one IMO!!

A Kid Named Megan☮ yea same here.I just got into her books actually and they're just so...addicting:D lol.

Eva-Marie Nevarez Sonya Sones is another good one for verse books. Not as good as Hopkins in my opinion but I like them.
There's another author too, and the book I liked a lot is I Heart You, You Haunt Me - that's worth checking into I think! :)

A Kid Named Megan☮ Oh i've heard of her books!lol.

Yea and I Heart You,You Haunt Me is going to be in my hands in a couple of weeks:D

Kyra Out of all of the Ellen Hopkins books that I have read, Identical is my favorite by far. I did not expect that ending AT ALL. It was an amazing read.

Colby Yeah, this one blew my mind. I need to reread it.

Atenas Loved the book! i would so reread it and its definetly one of my favs right next to impulse

Thought it was absolutely amazing! This is my second favorite of hers after Impulse (which is one of my top three favorite books overall.) The ending was TOTALLY unexpected and WOW! I haven't read that kind of twist in a book, had me completely flabbergasted at how amazing this book was

Meghan Favorite book by her, my twin sister actually gave it to me and it just blew my mind. I kept questioning wether that was us or not and I realize it isn't possible because we do EVERYTHING together. But it was an absolutely amazing book.

Samantha Just like "A Kid Named Megan" said, I was in a daze for a week. This book was incredible, it really makes you think about your life along with other's.

Tater Wormsbecker I loved it so much, I find myself just going back and reading certain parts here and there almost every day... I wish I could do what Hopkins has accomplished with her poetry, I admire her with every fiber in my body

Brenda amazing!!! simply amazing just like the writer >0<

Rianne This book kept me up at night because of the disturbing images it put in my mind.. lol but i loved this book, and this author(:

I love all these books.
It really blew me away about the twin sister..

message 18: by Mel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mel I loved this book; that ending completely blew me away. Was not expecting it at all. (:

Chantelle It was probably my faaaaaaavourite book by Ellen Hopkins

message 20: by Ana (new) - added it

Ana I did like it a lot, but it was a bit too much. The ending was the best though, a real shocker! I watched an interview w/ Ellen Hopkins, and she says she writes this to open up to teenagers, but i thought that sexual abuse in family was really strong. But the book was amazing, I won't lie. :)

CekMoNSter Ana wrote: "I did like it a lot, but it was a bit too much. The ending was the best though, a real shocker! I watched an interview w/ Ellen Hopkins, and she says she writes this to open up to teenagers, but i ..."

Agree! A real shocker there..It was the best for me, cause she wrote it cautiously not to reveal anything until we reach that tipping point..A bit disturbing at the child abuse part, but other than that, this book was amazing!

Natalie I probably reread it at least 5 times to make shur i under stood it correctly

Lily (SecretAgentL) I read it twice, and I absolutely loved it!

Brittany I love this book more than any other book! :) She's my favorite author.

Julia I loved Ellen Hopkins when I was really into ya fiction. She has such a way of opening your mind to pretty horrific things without really scaring you away from it. You see the person behind the addiction or the pain and it becomes kinda beautiful while still breaking your heart!
Identical was my second favorite of Ellen's work after Impulse which I just found so relatable in my early teens.

I also read I Heart You, You Haunt Me and I hated it! I thought it was really superficial and the characters seemed so flat! Then the story was just told way too quickly to have any real effect but asking around my fellow readers, I seem to stand alone on that opinion.

Anyway, Ellen Hopkins is an amazing author and definitely one of the best in ya fiction.

Maggie This book, at times, made my jaw drop. i would literally stay up all night until i passed out because i couldnt put it down. Ellen Hopkins has yet to fail me.

Mikayla This is one of the most powerful books I have ever read. I love Ellen Hopkins books because you can NEVER guess the endings. What do you guys think..?

Colby Only book I guessed the endings of were Impulse and Perfect. I still loved both, though.

Library Lady 📚 I guessed the ending of this from the beginning. It sort of annoys me when authors always try to have a big shocking conclusion, but maybe just because if you guess it, it sort of ruins the book.

message 30: by Ell (new) - rated it 3 stars

Ell The ending was great. and i didn't guess it. Ellen Hopkins actually made me like verse.

Kirby I foresaw the ending to impulse, but for some reason I didn't see this one coming...

Devyn Kelly! This book was soooooo good. The ending was a total shocker but I loved it so so so much!

Library Lady 📚 Kirby wrote: "I foresaw the ending to impulse, but for some reason I didn't see this one coming..."

Lol...just noticed I posted something to you on the Sex thread...anyway, I think what gave the ending away for me was at the very beginning where she talks about two souls or one souls split in two...I just thought, I bet it's only one girl. I don't know why, but I immediately thought that, and then throughout the book they hardly interact, so it reinforced my theory.

Kimberly Identical is my favorite book out of all her books. The ending was amazing. I kind of figured it out towards the middle of the book. But I kept reading thinking I was wrong. I'm glad she ended up with her best friend in the end. And I hope her father dies.

Mikayla I really liked Identical and now i'm reading Impulse, cant wait to finish hope i like it as much as Identical.
WHICH DO YOU GUYS LIKE BETTER IDENTICAL OR BURNED?

Kimberly Identical but Burned was amazing too

Maggie It made my jaw drop at times too!! ahhh its so good

message 38: by Gina (new) - rated it 4 stars

Gina I totally loved this book and the ending was not what I expected! She is probably one of my favorite YA authors. I am a school librarian and I can't keep her books on the shelf!

Mikayla Just finished "Impulse" and its hard to pick which one is my favorite, Identical was written with such passion and i loved all the pictures the words made : )

Noshin Choudhury I loved it, it was raw and real and the beutifully written and the emotions so spot on. I actually anticipatted the ending halfway through the book cos i watch and read so many psychological thrillers i had an inkling from the begining of what might happen. Neverthless it didnt fail to still touch me in the end.

Haley This is my favorite Ellen Hopkins book that I've read so far. It blew my mind, and I it's one of my favorite YA books.

BrooklynQT This book was so crazy but also so good! The ending blew my mind. I really thought there was 2 sisters, but that proved me wrong in an amazing way. I you guys liked that book you should read TRICKS.

Alec John I loved this book completely, but the end was kinda spoiled for me on here, so it wasn't AS shocking, but still. i THINK THERE SHOULD BE A SEQUEL.

Amanda I loved this book, it was one book I never predicted the ending of. I actually had to reread half the book because I thought I missed something, Hopkins shows her genius.

message 45: by Liz (new) - rated it 4 stars

Liz I loved this book! I was completely blown away with the ending I can honestly say that I did not see it coming at all. It was really well written just a great book all around.

Chelsea Groves Great book . . I just hated the ending I wishe she'd make a second one. !

Tessie Anderson I was addicted to this book ... like all of ellen hopkins books it was another one i couldn't put down. The ending was just so unexpected though ...

Victoria Medrano this book was amazing once i figured out what was happening i couldn't put it down!

Amanda This is my second favorite Ellen Hopkins book, my first was tricks. I've read them all and I think she is one of the most amazing writers. The way she put's feelings into words, and the way she can make you feel as if you're right there next to the character is mind blowing. I couldn't believe the plot twist at the end, I had no idea that would happen. I get very emotionally invested in her book's, and this one definitely brought out all the feel's.

Tessie Anderson I agree i love Ellen Hopkins because she is able to create books that are so raw with emotion and filled with topics that most people are too scared to talk about. In each book she writes so that you are able to embrace her characters as if you are inside of them living their pain... abuse.. hope .. addictions and lost love. Not every author can make you feel uncomfortable and yet still enjoy what your reading.
