Markéta (makii) It's going to be hard with juggling school, theatre company meeting, friends etc., but I will try a lot harder from now on! :)

Markéta (makii) 1. Kosmova kronika česká - Chronica Boemorum by Kosmas

Ugh, I really am not into chronicles. School reading.

Markéta (makii) 2. Moonshine by Rob Thurman

Last year, I got Nightlife for Christmas and fell in love with the series. When I got my hands on Moonshine, I couldn't stop reading. Yeah, Cal was a bit more pathetic, sentimental and emotional than I'd like, but it doesn't matter. Robin saves the day :))

But what kind of made me mad was the quality of the translation (to czech). Yeah, it's better than Nightlife, but missing quotation marks were kind of getting on my nerves.

Markéta (makii) 3. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll

One of the books I decided to read to broaden my horizont of classics. It was certainly interesting but as I bought copy in english, not in my mother language, it was quite hard for me to understand. All the time I've been feeling like I'm missing something because I am able to follow the story but not the meaning. Well, maybe in a few years?
Either way, I'm glad I didn't leave it that shelf.

Markéta (makii) 4. Max by James Patterson

I finally got to read the fifth installment of the Maximum Ride series. I literally breathed it in and I am really glad it made up a little for the dissappointment I had to face at the end of the previous book. Can't wait to find the next one in a bookstore.
