-wave wave-Hi everyone! Hopefully you're not living in a place covered in yucky snow right now like I am. My name is Alivia, I have one book under the belt and out in the world, and other than that I'm just your average living-off-caffeine gal. Mention coffee and I instantly love you.

Hi All, guess it is my time to jump in and introduce myself. My name is Heather and I am currently working on my first novel. I am fortunate because my husband has already had a novel published and has had several plays that he has written been produced (some have even won awards), so he is there to hold my hand during this process. :) I love reading and reviewing books. (Plus I have two kids (my daughter is a gifted writer, my son not so much) and three cats.)
Heather wrote: "Hi All, guess it is my time to jump in and introduce myself. My name is Heather and I am currently working on my first novel. When I first crossed-over into writing from a corporate career, my brother was already established as a high-end journalist and author, living in NYC and playing squash with top publishers. My entry into "his world" was not well received. It has taken nearly two decades for my brother to accept me as a colleague.
All the best with your new novel, and please share news along the way.

Great! :)
My husband is trying to be supportive, but also tries to take over because he can do it better. :) He is working with me on one novel, but I am also writing one that he doesn't know about to see if I can really do it. :::shhhhhhh:::
Hey, guys. if anyone is an author that writes romance, PM me. Check out my blog http://sarahintidam.blogspot.com

Hey guys! I recently started blogging my book reviews it has been a lot of fun for me, and being able to share my passion of books with other people has been an absolute pleasure. My Blog is:

Hello everyone,I feel it's a bit cheeky to start asking for reviews of my book, until I know what is expected of me first.
New kid at school!
So, what's the right way to get the best out of this group before I ask for a review.
Giving first kind of thing.
Kind regards to everyone.
Hey everyone,I'm Stephanie and I'm a new book blogger. I've just recently participated in the blog tour for Witch Hunt by K.C. Blake. The tour hasn't ended yet though so if you want to check out the interviews, etc. she has a list of the blogs on her blog/website.
I created my blog, The Service Mutations this past December and seemed to have stalled out at five followers (yikes!). You'll also see that I blog a little about everything. I'm still figuring out the whole book blogging part and how I want to do that. Suggestions are great!
Stephanie, Gave you a follow. It might help boost your numbers to add a Linky or networked blog widget. GFC now only works on blogger sites, so anyone with a wordpress, tumbler etc sites can't as easily follow, nor can they expect much of a follow back.
Stephanie wrote: "What's a networked blog widget (sorry)?"http://www.networkedblogs.com/
you can see what it looks like on my blog.

Hello,My name is Melody, I am publicist of
. I like to read just about any genre, non-fiction included, as long as it is a good story. In my short time here on Goodreads, I have discovered that I am an easy reviewer lol. I find that there are sort of common courtesy things in writing (like it shouldn't be littered with typos) and I have been lucky enough not to come by that, so as long as the kind-of common courtesy, I'll try just about anything :)
Hey Pikachu - welcome! This is a really good group for sharing information and generally being friendly and useful, so hopefully you'll like it here!
Also, as a reviewer you're going to be awfully popular with the authors!Do go and set up your thread in the relevant folder if you haven't already...and then stand back and wait for the avalanche!
< grin >
JAC
Hi Pikachu! You might want to post in the "Seeking to Review" folder as JAC said Also, I sent you a message here on Goodreads a couple of days ago before I'd even seen your post here (imagine that!) I wrote you from my other pen name so be sure to check your inbox for messages/friend requests :)-sry
@webbiegrrl
Hi all. I noticed that there are a few people asking about how, and where, to seek reviews in this group. I believe this is the folder:

Hello all! It's nice to meet you! I'm new here... is there a place/thread where I can post free books? I have one that's free today and tomorrow... Hope I don't go against any rules by posting here!http://www.amazon.com/A-Kind-of-Judgm...
It's nice to meet you all! I know a few of you already, I've seen from some threads. :)
hugs,
Nat
Hey Nat - welcome! This is a really useful group and a pretty good-natured one too. Read down the list of threads a bit further - there are a couple where you caan post your book and probably you'll find a few reviewers, if you're looking for them.
JAC
Hi, i am Martina and i am from Indonesia. I have a book blog, http://readinginthemorning.blogspot.com and my reviews mostly are in Indonesian since the books i read mostly are in Indonesian. But there are some reviews in English too for novels in English.Nice to find this group and meet you all.
Hey Martina - welcome! If you review English-language books you'll get a lot of requests if you start a thread in "Looking to Review".Natalie, it's the eternal quest, isn't it?! But I find a personal message to a relevant blogger will get you so much further than a general appeal, and a lot of the reviews I have came from members of this group. They're a lovely lot, generally!
JAC
Richard,I'm very interested in a review. Just contacted you via The Nervous Breakdown.
Thanks!
Nat

Hi Natalie, good to see you here. :):) Gina
Hello all. My name is Maya, I just joined the group. My reviews are here on Goodreads, at Amazon and on my blog:http://mayapanika.wordpress.com/
I'd also love to find reviewers for my paranormal fantasy novel Entanglement - please contact me if you'd like a free copy (Kindle only at the moment, I'm afraid).

Hey Maya - welcome! this is a really nice, helpful group so do add your book in the relevant boards below. Hint: read down the reviewer's board and contact the ones who do your sort of thing personally. Often they are too busy to volunteer but are quite happy to add your book to the waiting list if you ask politely. Can be a couple of months though - we keep them busy!!
JAC
Thanks so much for the welcome and thanks for the tip - I'll add my book and wait my turn. I write a fair few reviews myself and know the amount of time and work involved. :)
Hello everyone. :) I'm a newbie just taking a look around, trying to get my bearings. Looking forward to participating in discussions.
