Hi everyone! Hopefully you're not living in a place covered in yucky snow right now like I am. My name is Alivia, I have one book under the belt and out in the world, and other than that I'm just your average living-off-caffeine gal. Mention coffee and I instantly love you.

Welcome, Heather. How interesting that you find your husband's achievements in publishing an asset. When I first crossed-over into writing from a corporate career, my brother was already established as a high-end journalist and author, living in NYC and playing squash with top publishers. My entry into "his world" was not well received. It has taken nearly two decades for my brother to accept me as a colleague.
All the best with your new novel, and please share news along the way.

you know, now that there are multiple Sarahs (with the "h" as opposed to "Sara the Atchless") I'm not sure but I might have to go by Webbiegrrl all the time...*pout*

I'm Faye! *waves*
I'm twenty-one, currently at university and have had a blog for five months now. I LOVE being able to help authors out by writing good reviews for them and always feel touched when someone goes out and buys the book because of my recommendation!
Hope to meet some awesome fellow reviews and lovely authors here :-)
You guys are the bomb-diggity :D
Faye

@Faye - bomb-diggity?! Cool word, where're you from?

I'm quite varied, mostly YA, but really anything paranormal or fantasy, plus i do like contemporary YA and I'm usually good with general fiction...
haha, just anything that I like the look and sound of! :D

My Blog is:

I feel it's a bit cheeky to start asking for reviews of my book, until I know what is expected of me first.
New kid at school!
So, what's the right way to get the best out of this group before I ask for a review.
Giving first kind of thing.
Kind regards to everyone.

I'm Stephanie and I'm a new book blogger. I've just recently participated in the blog tour for Witch Hunt by K.C. Blake. The tour hasn't ended yet though so if you want to check out the interviews, etc. she has a list of the blogs on her blog/website.
I created my blog, The Service Mutations this past December and seemed to have stalled out at five followers (yikes!). You'll also see that I blog a little about everything. I'm still figuring out the whole book blogging part and how I want to do that. Suggestions are great!

Gave you a follow. It might help boost your numbers to add a Linky or networked blog widget. GFC now only works on blogger sites, so anyone with a wordpress, tumbler etc sites can't as easily follow, nor can they expect much of a follow back.

you can see what it looks like on my blog.

This is a really good group for sharing information and generally being friendly and useful, so hopefully you'll like it here!
Also, as a reviewer you're going to be awfully popular with the authors!Do go and set up your thread in the relevant folder if you haven't already...and then stand back and wait for the avalanche!

Hi all. I noticed that there are a few people asking about how, and where, to seek reviews in this group. I believe this is the folder:

It's nice to meet you all! I know a few of you already, I've seen from some threads. :)
hugs,
Nat

This is a really useful group and a pretty good-natured one too. Read down the list of threads a bit further - there are a couple where you caan post your book and probably you'll find a few reviewers, if you're looking for them.

Nice to find this group and meet you all.

Natalie, it's the eternal quest, isn't it?! But I find a personal message to a relevant blogger will get you so much further than a general appeal, and a lot of the reviews I have came from members of this group. They're a lovely lot, generally!
JAC

I'm very interested in a review. Just contacted you via The Nervous Breakdown.
Thanks!
Nat
