I have only read the first BDB book so I really don't know. But, VA is a very good series!!

They are totally different. If you want a story that continues with character's that grow. VA is great! There is friendship, romance, and a kick ass heroin. Richelle Mead is a wonderful author. She has adult series too, if your interested.

But if your looking for Steamy PNR, your not going to find it with VA. Both Cassie Palmer series are good and adult, but also are continuing stories and characters. I think Lords of the Underworld is more what your looking for if your looking for another PNR. Also Dark Hunter series and Midnight Breed series are good and pretty close.

I have read all of Mead's adult books and liked them well enough. I'm not necessarily looking for "steamy" but I also don't think I can handle "high school" depth of love/character/story, etc. I have not read LOU but have read Dark Hunter and Midnight Breeds. Thanks!

Honestly, I don't think it's really 'teen' like most of the teen books. The character's and world building are up to par with her other series. I've read a lot of the adult PNR's and loved BDB. But I for the last 3 VA books to come out, I would be at the book store right after work to get the book. It's my favorite series.

It might not be what your looking for right now, but it's a great story :)

The VA is an awesome series!! I agree...it is my fav as well. I thought it was going to be a little too 'teeny' for me but I was so wrong. Richelle Mead has a way of making you fall in love with the characters. Once I got through the first book I went out and got the rest!

I have to say you have some good selections! If you feel like changing it up but still want steamy go for the Rough Riders! I loved those books, but they are def steamy!!! LOTU is another great PNR series, and have you read Kresley Cole? Her series has the same set up as BDB. BDB and Immortals After Dark are my two fav series. Followed closely by LOTU! Whatever you chose from the list, you can't go wrong!

LOTU! The Lords are all strong and sexy and they meet their matches (or their downfall!) in their heroines. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll fall in love. What more could you ask for?

LOTU. The story gets better and better every book and it will keep you busy for awhile since there are like 8 books out right now.
