Wizards First Rule by Terry Goodkind

This is the first book in the Sword of Truth seris. Though I sometimes have issues with the technichal aspect of Goodkind's writing, I do not think he is as skilled as some other writers, he still tells a good story which does draw the reader in.

One of the thing I really enjoy about his books, is he comes up with some really creepy creatures that can make the spine tingle. He is good at building anticipation.

I also enjoy the characters of his books. This book could be a good book just standing on its own.

I think this book is the basis of an upcoming television series. I've thought about picking the book up, but I've never read anything by Goodkind and the size is a bit daunting.

I think I've seen commericals for the TV series. I'll have to pick up the book.

Yes, this book is being made into a TV series, which I cannot wait to see. Yes the book is thick but for me I found it read farily quickly. One thing Goodkind is good at is creating suspense.He has some of the creepiest fantasy creatures.
