Any fans here? I never watched it until my cousin and her husband raved about it all of the time...last summer I watched all of the seasons. It is the ultimate guilty pleasure. This will be the last season, but it is not starting up again until January.

Nip/Tuck used to be a phenomenal show but I feel its gone downhill in the last 2 seasons. What did you think after watching them all in a row?
The first three seasons were awesome and I thought there were some great story lines. This past season was a little bit more rocky, but I still love the show as a guilty pleasure. Writing off Julia's character - good, but I liked her. Turning Matt into a drug addict - also good. Christian getting Wilbur - good. Becoming a tv star - not into so much. His "publicist" as a bear-stuffing killer - not into so much. Eden and Sean - yuck. Eden as a crazy girl - yuck. Julia trying out being a lesbian - not into. Julia hooking up with Christian - not really into. I will enjoy watching how the writers wrap up the series.
What story lines did you really like or not like at all?
I loved the first 3 seasons!!! Thought they were extraordinary. But when they brought in the "killer" I thought it started going downhill form there. Julia cheating on Sean with the manny was ridiculous, Matt getting involved with the transvestite was just weird (and I have nothing against trasvestites!! LOL). The TV star thing was stupid and the bear stuffing killer storyline totally creeped me out. I am curious how they will wrap the show up. Have you ever watched Rescue Me??
I agree mostly with you guys about Nip/Tuck, but I thought the bear stuffing killer was so creepy it was brilliant. Sharon Gless deserves an Emmy for portraying her as believable while still being so sick. She was just amazingly delusional!Peace!
Yes Courtney......I thought her performance was excellent but I felt the storyline was kinda weird even for Nip/Tuck.
Weird is a relative thing on that show...lol. It was pretty horrifying!xo
I didn't like the Sean on the tv show storyline. I knew the Eden storyline would be interesting and it was. Her shooting Julia was totally unexpected. Sean getting stabbed by his crazy publicists should be interesting. I bet they put him in a wheelchair. I think Julia will pull through but have amnesia for awhile and Eden will continue to try to kill her so she can't divulge the truth. I can't wait to see what happens with Matt and his half-sister.
Eden actress is on a new show for the fall...she's the new 90210 bitch!xo
Oh are you serious?? MAN.....there goes that show for me then! I hate that girl. I couldn't stand watching her on Nip/Tuck now I'm going to hate watching the new 90210. UGH
I can't decide if I want to get involved in new 90210 or not. I watch enough soaps and without Aaron Spelling at the helm, it just can't be what it once was and you know people will compare and contrast. It just may bomb after the original curiosity is over (and Jenni Garth's appearances are over after 4th). I'm not a Brenda fan. I always liked Kelli...probably because she was opposite in looks to me and I was in love with her blonde hair; yet most like me in terms of personality.Peace! xo
I can't decide either. I'm going to give it a shot though and see what I think. I heard its going to be racier and edgier than the original and that Jennie Garth AND Shannon Doherty will only be in 4 episodes. I always liked Kelly too.....she was me in high school. Blond, snobby, and bitchy..... glad I got rid of two of those!! ;)
I am going to try 90210. I always make sure I have a couple of guilty pleasure shows to DVR and watch on the weekends when I do chores around the house! Nip/Tuck never makes it to the weekend - I always watch it on Wednesday afternoon when I get home from school! (I teach and must leave my house at 5:45 to get to work...needless to say, I can't stay up late to watch grown-up shows.) ;)
Does anyone know of any good web sites that outline the new fall shows? I got into Reunion on FOX a few years back - I was bummed when they canceled it. I thought it was a good show. Did anyone else see it?
I also got into The Nine two years ago, and they canceled that too!
It seems as though networks don't give new shows much time to take off, which makes me leery to tune in because of my interest and then being cut off quickly!
LOVE Nip/Tuck. My husband and I can't wait until the new season!!!
Well, I do watch this and I think I am a season behind because some of the stuff talked about here is new to me... This is a show I Netflix and I just don't think this season is out yet... I will have to check my Queue... Glad to hear Sharon Gless will be on it... I have loved her since Queer as Folk... One of my old Guilty Pleasures (those guys were FUNNNNY)...I liked plastic surgeon/sister who killed people... but I think that is the last season that I got into totally... Overall, there are parts I loved and parts I hated... but the individual episodes were usually enough entertainment with the guest stars etc. to keep me wanting to watch. Going to check my netflix Q now... lol

Sometimes this show gets a little too weird, even for me. I'm not easily shocked but I found myself a tad sickened by the diaper girl. Wow. Weirdo.

I felt so bad for Liz on this past episode.....do you think she's really gone?
The season finale is tonight! I love this show! It is so over the top and I can't get enough...Supposedly, this was going to be the final season, but it will now be going into 2011.
Do you think they will kill off Christian? I have some thoughts, but want to hear what you think first.
I don't know.....I could see them killing him off and then having him come back as a ghost.....or I could see him magically being cured at the last second so he can ditch Liz and go back to being his usual disgusting self. ;) What do you think?

I was home from work sick today, so I watched last night's episode...and it ended exactly like I thought it would - Christian's cancer is in remission because they read his results wrong, and he gets the news just as he and Liz are about to head to Italy with Wilbur for their honeymoon. We all know he married Liz because he thought he was dying, so now it will be interesting to see if his character changes, or if he will resume his typical-Christian-like ways.

Yeah it ended exactly the way I thought it would end too. It will be interesting to see what Christian does!! I really was shocked that Kimber didn't say anything at the wedding. I couldn't believe that. Teddi is ridiculous......just a pointless character for sure. And the vampire people....good lord..... :)
