@Jlyates: The blooms sound gorgeous! Gotta love spring!

It is currently 1:46 pm (central time), it is summer and the temp is 90. With a 56% humidity!!!
I spy with my little eye ... grass, trees, and sidewalks.

Currently 4:24 pm (central time)
Summer and 101 F.
I see my back porch, and the area where my youngest grandson plays. Large crepe myrtle tree, not blooming yet.

I've got a small mauve one that just came up in a pot of something else, transplanted it and its going fine.

Yes - the bark is lovely. So smooth! Doesn't make for good climbing trees, but Logan manages somehow!

1.It's 9pm here and it's 18 degrees here (warm for Scotland!)
2. ISpy with my little eye a very quiet street, a little too quiet if you ask me!

8:44 AM, 68 F, Summer
I spy.....forested hills and cloudy skies. It looks like it'll probably rain on us again today. But that's ok because everything is incredibly green. There are kiwi and fig trees beside a lot of the faculty houses. The houses are white with bright red roofs. The students are out working on the grounds and making noise. :)

It is currently 11:35pm EST and the temperature is 73 degrees. Still summer technically but I can feel Fall coming :)
I spy...well I can't really see much out my window right now, it is mostly trees and a slice of the sky...but if I was looking for real (instead of just craning my neck under the black out curtain) I would see a very full moon and some mountains :)

Yeah, it's looking like a few day respite from the heat. But at least I can hate the humidity a little less when I look out and see all the green.
Nice to 'meet' you Judithe!

Have been over soooo close to you a few times~all for baseball tournaments~so happy/sad that is winding to a close (the boy is "graduating" from the team).

You think of mountains & coolness & Ireland and rain, they just go together. LOL.

Lol yeah it is still scorching over here in the States but it rains everyday still :) Well almost...and I have a pool so technically I have webbed feet ;) lol jk Nice to see others who love the mountains!

I actually have a bit of a phobia when it comes to water I can't see...including the ocean. Just went on vacation to the beach and couldn't go past my waist lol, but I love to body surf :)

Haha that is still awesome! I need to get started on snowboarding. Now that I am finally allowed to go (college coaches frown on that kind of stuff ;)) I intend on having a good ole' time!

And yes! Since I live in mountains (and if global warming isn't too mean) then I get snow in the winter :)

And yes! Since I liv..."
Oh snap! Well the only way to go to college without paying for the rest of your life is to get a scholarship or grant, or be so damn poor that they pay for you! Haha and thanks Steph!! Sorry we are carrying on a convo up here haha

It is 11:30 am {EST}. The current temp is 76 and cloudy. We are waiting for more Hurricane Isaac rains to pass through, which means, no lawnwork for me!
I spy, with my little eye, a 52 year old woman still in her jammies who is about to start a new book :)

Oh, hun, you didn't offend me at all! Ya see, I have this wicked little(-ish) OCDemon on my back and she looooves things just so. The comment I made was in jest and not meant to upset. As I said, I'm very happy to see ya'll made a GR connection. :D
Carry On! ;)

It's 13:25pm and about 22degrees.
When I look out the window I see the thunderclouds moving in.

I just now found these comments and would like to apologize as well, I didn't even know there was a chat feature! Where might this place be?? Thanks!

If you want, you can start a specific thread for a chat there! :D
(And no need to apologize!)

It's January 11,2013 and its 11:18am
It's currently winter here but you wouldn't know by the temperature it's currently 60 degrees Fahrenheit out
When I look out my window I see my yard with dead trees plants and grass it's winter after all

It's 4.05pm Monday 4th Feb 2013 and it is cold as still winter. Currently 10C (50F)
I spy out my window - trees and houses down my road leading to the town's cricket green.

I'm 5 mins from my local cricket ground but I bet yours is prettier ;)

I'm 5 mins from my local cricket ground but I bet yours is prettier ;)"
It doesn't look very pretty at the moment Sandra :(....It is very cold and wet out there at the moment. It all looks very drab as trees still bare so very little birds/wildlife.....
Some parts of England already have snow and they have promised it for us down south of the country and say it is coming tomorrow....The snow does make everything very pretty but not so much when it starts melting and becoming slush :(

Now you are making me jealous ;)...It really is quite grotty here!

Humidity is thy enemey!!!"
We are never happy, are we? ha ha....Hope you don't melt too much and I will try not to break my teeth whilst I shiver ha ha!

9:52 am/35 Degrees/Winter
I spy with my little eye trees, lake, swing set (my back yard)

2:17p | 85˚F | Spring
I spy sand, lots and lots of sand and no water to be found. *sigh*
It is 6:25 pm and it is still light out side (Yeah!), although it has been raining. Temp is 61 degrees and it is our normal out of control weather. The other day it was 87 degrees and the next morning we woke up to frost on the grass, Bummer :( My peach tree has jsut started to bloom, hope it didn't hurt it.
Outside my study, there is the climbing yellow rose bush (LOVE yellow roses). I can see my Japanese cherry tree, don't remember which one; have two different types, one blooms and as it loses its flowers the other one starts blooming. Across the yard and street are the neighbors, one has a redbud tree blooming. If I look out the study door I can see my kitchen window and see the branches of one of my trees, the roof of our storage building and the top of that neighbor's pine tree.
