Fun question: If you were a fruit or vegetable, what would you be and why?

I would pick snow peas for vegetables because they are crunchy and green.
So I guess that makes me a sweet, bright funny looking crunchy book reading nut.
:-D
the green part just reminds me of spring and summer and I love those seasons!

If I had to be fruit..hmm..a cherry! So delicious and pretty :)

summer.
Yellow beans just a bit different, like me .
I love your answer, Magpie! A crunchy book reading nut is an interesting image.
Michelle,
One of my favorite dishes is broccoli with hollandaise sauce.
And Betsy, I love spring, when strawberries are so plentiful and cheap.

A late apple and I'm late too, on your tour, I always seemed to be a step or two behind you, commenting after you were gone. Sorry! I was looking forward to it.
Thanks for your saucy comment, Betty, and late is fine! That's what's good about a virtual book tour. Not only can anyone anywhere read the posts, you can read them anytime. :)
Here's the full list of my stops, for anyone else who is in catch-up mode:

Well, first criteria would be to be a food that I like to eat (much like writing what I like to read). So, it's got to be some kind of berry, because I love berries. I think I'd choose to be a blackberry, ripe and luscious and delicious to eat, but also healthy and good for you. I am health-conscious and wouldn't want to be something unhealthy to eat! I'd want to be a treat, though, not something common that you eat every day, like a carrot. I want people to look forward to eating me--just as I want them to look forward to reading my books.
