I brought this book at a local summer fete & the author has signed it!

Top corner of the book is turned up, but is still very readable











All books have been read and have some expected wear to them, but all are readable. I will ship anywhere and will Get Flick (my daughter) to pick a winner on Wednesday 25th of Jan! Good luck x x

I think you have a nice selection Caroline. It's been quiet on this thread lately. Maybe having two raffles going at the same time is wearing thin.

Does anyone have an opinion on switching it back to one raffle, maybe including a few paperbacks and an alternate ebook choice?

I joined this one to ship overseas as well. I stick with this one because I do not like the way the other raffle has changed. I'm way too busy reading (haha) to select a book for someone else. How the heck would I know what someone else likes anyway! A surprise is nice but I think a separate raffle should have been started in addition to the original to accommodate those who enjoy the new style of selection.

Anyway Caroline, the only books I was interested I either own or have already read. Maybe next time I'll find something to choose.

I've been thinking lately that we should consolidate into one raffle... (But I didn't want to be a party-pooper - LOL)

I generally participate in both raffles as they both pretty much ship overseas - esp given the other raffle is now ebooks most of the time. And previously ppl just specified if they didn't want to ship internationally, but that restriction was/is rarely taken up...

But lately I've been trying to reduce my physical books so haven't been as active in this thread as in the other which is now mostly ebooks :)

I like Fran's idea of mixing up physical and surprise/category specific ebooks...

@Jane, should we check with the powers that be and see about going back to one raffle, maybe with a combo theme of paperback and ebook? Or maybe winners choice of how they want to run their particular raffle and everyone can decide if they want to participate based on offer.

P.S. I have just been reading over on the first Raffles thread! I think Jane highlighted that what their doing now (a pick it for you) style raffle should differ from this thread? When it first started?... Maybe the titles of the each Raffle should be made clearer? Raffle 1. PIFM STYLE. Raffle 2. Pick it yourself from a list of the winners choosing?! (obviously with much shorter & better names!!lol)
I'm a plain & simple girl with 2 little monekys to boot so not alot of time to be going thru peoples to be read lists!. Raffle one is not my cup of tea:-( x x
