yes you do.
If you want to believe in writer block, then you'll be stuck in your little bubble of not being able to write. However, if you stubbonly persist with it, plan your stuff, then you should be okay.

would you count if you...I dunno...lets say in hospital or something. Is that writers block?I think writers block is more a lack of creativity.
You know it's like sometime you have plans and then while you are writing you just feel that you should change some part ( the already written one) of it and then you are unable to take the story forward ...

exactly you want to change something and then you dont know how to incorperate it in your story. Something like that is writers block.
if u dont know HOW to incorerpate that into your story...well that just goes back to a lack of planning (talking about writing, new chapter is coming soon soph :))

The one mistake I made with cursed: I didn't plan it out. So it took twice as long as it should have. What do you mean "to much its far to staged."?

but thats the idea of planning- to get all your idea's down on paper to organise them.
well Writing is not all about planning .Sometimes it's on the spot too... You can't just plan and write . Sometimes you just write and then delete it and start re-writing with some new idea and then you get struck up... And besides some time you can't write not because you don't have a idea or there's some incorporation problem it's just you start thinking which one is better
I truly think it happens because I know it does to me. It's not so much that I don't have an idea, it's more that you can't really see where you're going with it and you need more planning before jumping into it, like many writers do.
I definitely agree with Alyssa.I was stuck at my characters having a conversation and I just couldn't figure out what they could say or who could say it as well as how it was all going to turn out and what would happen.
*sigh* this all comes back to planning. If you had planned out your characters, tehn youu would get a better idea of tehir personality, and therefore what they would say should come naturally.
I don't like planning, it doesn't flow as easily if I do. That was my prblem in Primary School. They made us plan before we started.
I did finish the bit of the story I was stuck on so it doesn't really matter anyway. I don't think i'll post anymore at the moment. No one seems that interested in reading it.

writers block for me isnt a spacific thing and btw planning doesnt work for some people.
Coz some people tend to change their mind a thousand time so planning doesn't work for them
Sometimes I just have these writing mood swings where I can write one or two beautiful paragraphs in the blink of an eye. It's like the words are flowing out of my pen; not my mind. It's almost unconscious.Other times I think about what to write, for a long time, and it just doesn't come. Nothing sounds good enough.

i think writes block is a psychological problem (well thats wut my friend told me)but once i was supossed to write a story (we (our class) were NOT prepared and it was like an exam!) and i couldnt think of anything but then i realised it was only stress so i tried calming myself down and then the teacher gave me a veryy high mark :D sooo i dont believein writers block!
hey.I think writers block is kinda real. I mean, it often happens to me. Sometimes teachers put us to write something (essays, descriptions of any kind, anything that involves some figures of speech) and I'm just staring at that white paper... (not cool at all for me).
I also called it a writers block last year, when I wanted to finish writing my first book. when I started it, I suddenly got more and more homework from school then, when the summer holiday came, I just couldn't bring myself to write. don't know what was wrong with me, maybe just boredom :|.
but I think it happens. more often to some people than the other, but it still exists. I mean, seriously - we can't be writing, at least the easiest compositions, for a lifetime and not getting stuck at least once :D
