I love hearing other points of view, and actually have friends who are staunchly Republican *gasp* which is a recent phenomenon of the last 10 years. It helps me understand when there is a good discussion, and in some instances I've agreed. *a bigger gasp* What I hate is snide, sarcastic posts, empty mudslinging, and towing the party line - either party - to the point of citing fabrications. Since I believe the only hope for this country is de-polarization (is that a word?), the more discussion the better. If it's kept civil, without the sneers.
