Reading buddies usually follow a certain reading pace/schedule, and if you want to re-read with the others, of course you are free to join them. But if you've already read the book but you just want to join in the discussion of the buddies without following their set reading schedule, we usually call you an "eavesdropper". If you look at the buddy reads thread, you'll see several eavesdroppers there and they're the ones who usually motivate the buddies to read on. :)

I remember I gifted the Sense of an Ending and it was sooo expensive! P965 to be exact. Tapos ung binigyan ko bumili ng second hand copy kahit nilagay nya sa wishlist nya ung book. tsk.*bitteresa lang today* hahahaha!

The title escapes me!ANYHOO, to get back on track, Mae and I will be reading In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust. The series is made up of seven books; we'll be doing one book every year in April. For this year, we'll cross out the first book, Swann's Way.
However, we have agreed not to create any threads to take the pressure off the reading. We fear that Proust is mental work, so we thought of taking it at our own pace. It's like buddy reading in spirit.
For a traditional buddy read, I'd like to invite you to read House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski this May. Based on my Instagram/Facebook post, Bennard, Honey, and Monique are interested. Let me know if you want to join, too. :)
Hm since nagkakayayaan na ng Buddy Reads...ako na rin! We're planning a buddy read of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke come April (or anytime in 2nd quarter of the year, actually). Some of us received this book for Christmas and in honor of one of the people who gave it to us (*cough*Aaron*cough*), we are going to read it together.
So far we have: Me, Monique, Lynai, Alexa, Louize, Maria, Mae, Celina, Ycel
Eavesdroppers: Tricia, Aaron
Who else wants to join? As I said in my post below -- eavesdroppers are also welcome. :D
