I've only not finished 2 books in my life, but as I'm reading more of these review books, its getting harder and harder to finish them all sometimes, lol. Some are just really really bad.

message 4002: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) yes it is. i dnt give up all the time, i've only given up on 1 or 2 but i read Entangled by Cat Clarke all the way thru and wished i hadn't wasted my time

Books are always better than movies :)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) May I ask a question?
did you guys like classic novels?

message 4005: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) I like some classic novels. My fave book ever is Wuthering Heights but some I can't get into like I have tried to read Jane Eyre multiple times and I just can't get into it

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 36 comments Beatrice wrote: "May I ask a question?

Some. I really loved Little Women. Wuthering Heights is on my to read list. And so is a Tale of Two Cities. But generally its not my genre. They tend to be slower paced.

message 4007: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) Wuthering Heights is the only classic I really love. I can't wait to read Wuthering Bites by Sarah Gray Heathcliff as a vampire. Yes please.

message 4008: by Diana Stormblessed (new)

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 36 comments lol, yeah, that one's on my list to read too. I've been told to read Wuthering Heights (original) first though

message 4009: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) My friend also recommended me Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre. the only classic novel I've read was 'Inferno' from the Divine Comedy. which gave me a view what hell looks like. :P

message 4010: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) Yes Wuthering Heights it worth a read first =)
I have got Jane by April Lindner that I really want to read. I couldn't get into Jane Eyre but I like the storyline so I might like this a bit more

I am starting Shatter Me soon!

message 4015: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) I'm still reading Delirium but it's good so far. I have this cover Delirium (Delirium, #1) by Lauren Oliver it's gorgeous isn't it?

Shatter Me was brilliant. One of my favourite books of last year.

Yeah it was gorgeous, I am looking for that actually :P

message 4017: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) They have it on TBD I think.

Yea I read it right at the end of last year and when I read it I didn't even intend to. I didn't know what to read so I picked it up to read the first few pages to see what it was like, next thing I knew I was like 150 pages in

message 4018: by Natshane, H.F.G.Stealer (new)

LOL, I wanted to read the book because everyone was saying how great it was, besides I really love the cover.

Oh, I was also thinking of getting Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer , have you read it?

message 4019: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) No I haven't read that one. Really want to tho. I am on a book buying ban

harshini (watchmeread) | 472 comments Who tells poor innocent children that they have an exam on a subject that they don't study at all? That lady is cruel. So she told us what was going to come!
Till June!? Atleast after this month I am free!

aimee (aimeecanread) (aimeecanread) I just can't wait for Summer. March 14th seems so far away! Our freaking exams start March 1st, I think. Study for a whole week. I have a hard time with Chinese and Philippine History the most =.=

message 4036: by Diana Stormblessed (new)

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 36 comments Just started Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1) by Tahereh Mafi . It is not what I expected. But I do love the writing style.

message 4037: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) Diana I loved that book. It is brilliant. How do you feel about the strikeout's? I know some people hated it

Terri ♥ (aka Mrs. Christian Grey) (mybookboyfriend) | 41 comments Yes, Delirium was a slow start but ended in a bang. But I absolutely loved Before I Fall. Great message in that book.

I don't mind them. I love her writing style. The words and images are so flowy. Very poetical. Total contrast to the story's harsh reality.

message 4041: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) oohh I'll have to read Before I Fall as well. I just reli wish I had more time to read it instead of doing this damn essay. Roll on Friday LOL

Diana, I really liked the strikethroughs I thought it gave you more of a sense of her thoughts but what she was kind of afraid to say. I can't wait for the second one

message 4042: by Diana Stormblessed (new)

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 36 comments I kinda liked them for the same reason. I know she could have portrayed her thoughts in a different way too, but this kind of cuts to the chase and doesn't stop the flow of the story. I think it works real well all together. I am definitely giving an A for writing style. Haven't gotten far enough into the story to have a say on plot yet.

message 4043: by Kayleigh {K-Books} (new)

Kayleigh {K-Books} (kayley_12) Oh yea definitely.
I read a review of it by someone who didn't like it because of the amount of short sentances and everything in it but that's what I loved about it as I feel it portrays her mental state really well.
