Cody's 2011 book list (started 3/10)

Yesterday i finished Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind.
After that i started Light of Eidon by Karen Hancock.

I finished Light of Eidon but now i'm searching for another book while i wait for Stone of Tears by Terry Goodkind.

Just finished The Dragons of Babel by Michael Swanwick. Now i'm starting The Great Book of Amber by Roger Zelazny. This book is the compilation of the Amber series. So i guess i'll go ahead and count it as 10 books. :P

Also finished Assassin's Apprentice by S.R. Vaught . The first book of the Oathbreaker series.

I just saw these in the library the other day. I had never even heard of this author. What do you think of them? Will you read the entire series?

Well. I've been reading it but it just keeps getting slower. The stories quite monotonous.

Zelazny's a very well-respected Sci-Fi author; the Chronicles of Amber is probably his best known work, though I'm looking for a copy of A Night in the Lonesome October. That said, he does sometimes get a little draggy...

I got Eon for my classroom library. Are they both good reads? What age would you recommend them for?

I gave up on The Chronicles of Amber. It became to slow once i got to the third book. And i liked Eon and Eona. I would say 12 and up but there is some almost sex in there and i don't know if you want that in a classroom...
