message 21428: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments If u ask me about movies, I can name many. But with books, the only one I have read twice and did like was High Fidelity by Nick Hornby. But that was like 10 yrs apart and the 2nd time I read it, it took me a bit of time to realize I was reading the same book. It is among my favorite books. I have watched the movie based on it a couple of times too. Adult, fun, and light. so recommended.

If we are talking about other books to series like History of Magic & Fantastic Beast then they all are exceptionally good but not at par with HP but who knows when other Voldemort shines

message 21435: by Makrand (new)

Makrand | 1353 comments Yes, on a number of occasions. funny story, i'd experience them while studying viz post 3am I would be very engrossed & wouldn't pay any attention but when I realised a couple years later, I was in for a real scare!

ttpbm: What would be your reaction if you're stuck up in a lift Alone and the lift abruptly halts and the lights in it gets switched off too? Real reaction expected :D

message 21436: by Robin P (new)

Robin P | 210 comments Because I have seen so many elevator pranks on youtube, my first reaction would be to prepare myself for something similar. And if nothing happens for a long time, i would then start panicking.... i will shout and bawl at the top of my voice.... press buttons etc.

TTPBM: what's the worst thing you have experienced in your life?

message 21437: by Yash (new)

Yash (vyash2k) | 809 comments Phew it's been long.

As a student who's been through the JEE "system" and survived it, I'd say Grade 12 was perhaps the most taxing on myself. Pressure was being applied from all sides, and that in itself breaks the spirit of many. Luckily I pulled through. ^-^ Certainly wouldn't recommend anyone to go through it.

Wow. What a coincidence. I am in grade 12th but I have a different stream. However, i would say 12th indeed (2018) is the worst thing that is happening to me -_-. Just till 29th march and this torture will be over.
