@hazel : For me, as far as the thread goes, a question should be something you would love to answer or the questioner seeks an opinion of the person. The question I told stupid was coz I know I am not living in a secluded land...so coreespondence with relatives is but natural..

TTPBM : How frequent do you dream while asleep ??

With all due respect, i request you to be a bit broad-minded regarding this. There are many of us here who are so embroiled in our work/job/addictions that sometimes we don't get the time to talk to our near n dear ones. Am a live example for that, my answer to Smitha's question would be a big disappointing NO, as i don't frequently correspond with my parents/relatives/friends (except some in chat)

@Mansee, planning to procure some more bits of furniture for the house. Right now it's hardly in any shape to receive guests! :(

TTPBM: visited any cool places this summer? where?

I am not spooked. One of the best events took place on Friday the 13th - my Dad was born on Friday the 13th, as he was a tiny baby (intrauterine growth retardation) coupled with being born on an inauspicious day (mahalaya amavasa for the Hindu Indians) all the elders in the family predicted he wouldnot survive, but fortunately he did, though he suffered his mother's death within a few months of his birth....and to cut a long story short, here am I
TTPBM: the last time you partied (Avisek, pardon me if this doesnot suit you :)JUST JOKING)

TTPBM: do you know an italian writer?

message 1565: by Avisek (new)

Avisek Bandyopadhyay | 383 comments @smitha : Thats a pretty bad impression !!! Well, anyways I presented the earlier one at a pretty amusing note which got serious with the flag bearers of the community.....I didnt know that was such a raw nerve amongst people......

Anyways, I partied last saturday...

@TTPBM : Is there any movie released thats worth watching this weekend ???

TTPBM: have you sailed paper boats in rain water ditches?"

Smitha, this ingenious plan of urs sort of backfired on me, rather on my wallet! :-P
The romantic drive cum eating out (followed inevitably by a "bit" of shopping) costed me 10 times the amount that i'd have spent on the movie! :-P Kiddin'..had a gr8 time!

@dely, sorry to say, I dont know of any Italian writer
@ Avisek, I usually watch old, old, reruns of movies on TV, so answer to your question is also , guess what, don;t know. Regarding the other problem, maybe its because all of us are at a disadvantage because in an internet society, we are unaware of the body language, gestures and tones of questions and conversations, so questions can be interpreted in different ways. All of us look after one another and we have become a close-knit community; maybe that's the reason why they came into my defense. Its difficult to explain through writing, but after sometime you'll come to understand what I mean.
@Aditya, convey my apologies to your wallet :)
