Hopefully I added the books correctly. The older version is no longer in print. Can it be combined with the new edition.

I noticed the older version is the one showing. Does that matter?

The one which shows will always be the one which is on the shelves of the most users. As users start reviewing the new edition, it'll probably become the one displayed. (There may in the future be a way to designate one edition as the display edition, but for now it goes by popularity.)
