Arena Three Discussion

@Klymene: I just chose random places and stuck them to the districts. I'll change right now..
I suppose. *sigh* it's so hard to win because we can't actually kill people. Could there be a dice policy? Like in the warrior cats game? if you've ever played it.
BTW. The two missing gods are Hermes and Aphrodite so.....you can work that out....maybe take two ideas for arena's, like Asa's and another one, and incorporate those into the next two circles.
Right Here is the Warrior cats game: http://www.warriorcats.com/quest/cont...
you have to roll above a certian number to get a kill. I was thinking the Gamemakers could set that number and roll the dice.

What if someone lies about the number they rolled? Or a game maker says they picked a number and then change it so that the person dies if they don't want them to live? Too many possible ways this could go wrong. People simply have to be mature and kill their charries. Everyone who creates more the one charrie should have at least one charrie die in the opening battle.
The Game makers have to be reliable, or there could be, say, 3 gamemakers that roll the dice, and either the rolls are above or below and the majority wins. There can be a private GM forum for that. Or you could take volunteers. I just feel like no one wants to kill their RPcharacter, because they want to win, which is understandable. We need more random odds.
Yes, but how else will people die? I have bad luck with the dice. Please, there has to be a way for people die and more fairly! and it's kind of akward to ask someone to kill their RP character.
It's possible, yes. But a poll would leave it up to other people. It has to be random chance. In a poll, no one wants to get rid of one of their potential allies, right away. Maybe we could use a random chance calculator on the internet or a graphing calculator that has an app for that.
yes, that's exactly the random that would be great for the game. but there's the honor system too... I'm not saying that you are dishonest.... just want to make sure...
I was personally thinking of making a private mod discussion ((pr group if discussion can't be private)) and then Asa would roll a die and post the number in the second group. That way, even if Asa came up with the number in his head, the mods would know the number. Then people would pick numbers etc.... BUt it is a way for the mods to all know the number b4 or something. Sry parents coming. Gtg for the night. Bye.

Oh! if you have skype, you can screen share to one (or maybe 2) other people at a time!!! I can show you how!

YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN!! I always add other thoughts in new posts and now (the only time I edit a post) some one sees it and the whole conversation goes wack! WHO WAS I TALKING TO WHO ASKED WHY I ALWAYS EDIT MY POSTS BY ADDING ANOTHER POST?!?!?!?!??!???!?!?!

If you know in advance someone's character is going to die, you never really grow attached to them--you know you're just going to lose them later.
I think it takes away from the shock value if we know who's going to be taken out.
If you're going to though, maybe you could reveal those who are going to die at the beginning of Arena 3? It would probably be more dramatic--albeit possibly frustrating for some people--if no one knew who was going to die.
Tough call.

All right, that makes sense. Are you going to ask for volunteers first, though? Some people might be willing.
That sounds better. Also, for those who are actually mature, make one charrie you like, and another charrie that you will sacrifice. There is only one winner and it doesn't have to be you. Seriously, what do you get if you win? Nothing. Face it. Just kill you charrie.
That is enough mods (majority) It is settled then. Tributes will be sentenced to death when things get dull in the arena. *smack that judges hammer thing on a table* Case closed!

just toss us in there, and see what happens, we know the rules, and will follow them,
make it a free form battle arena.
and may the odds be ever in our favor.
:D

i do see what you mean then.
Most people that play like to god mod alot as well, so i suppose you all are on the right track to ridding that problem.
What about Aphrodite's tributes?

Hence my question, is the Arena round?
This is a really cool and elaborate design, sounds awesome although it could last a while.
You'll just have to wait for the next arena, then. You can't call them ahead of time. And it's kind of useless to do that, anyways.

No sun, ..."
Eleanor, I love, love, love it. But which districts would correspond with the gods?
