you just can't charm speak at all. You're literally picking up talents from gods you aren't related to. it's crazy

I've been thinking the same thing lately, I think I've got an idea for something.

To be honest, I thought he was banned a month ago.

It's like an optional search for something, but they won't reveal what it is. I hope everyone doesn't mind.

Yeah, unfortunately it'll take me at least 48 hours to come up with an adequate riddle/rhyme to fit the quest.
In the mean time, kill monsters? Hunt Gabe's character? (lol)

-Oval-shaped, with a dome over the top blocking out the sky. Gamemakers can change weather/amount of light on a whim.
-Split into 3 parts, in horizontal stripes.
-Part 1 (Top when looking down on arena): Mojave Desert climate. Monsters hidden everywhere, only a very small water source, but it looks exactly the same as a fake one on the other end of the section. The fake one does something different every 3 hours (e. i. poisons, causes hallucinations, makes invulnerable for some amount of time).
-Part 2 (Middle when looking down on arena): Forest, like the one in the arena in book 1. Overall best part of the arena, so naturally most of the killing will go on here. Rivers and streams are fairly easy to find, but so are the monsters. Extremely humid.
-Part 3 (Bottom when looking down on arena): Extremely cold, blizzards that go on forever. This is where the Cornucopia is. There are some fairly warm caves hidden in banks of snow, as well as some extra supplies. Not very many monsters, but the weather makes up for that.
-Sections are separated by... something. I don't know what.
Hope at least some of those ideas are good!
Hmmm. You have some interesting ideas, but if the sections are separated how can one go from section to section? One answer to this (also the only answer I have) is to make the arena a circle that is split apart into three triangles. In the middle of the circle is another smaller circle. The sections can be separated by diamond walls (hardest mineral on earth) so tributes cannot pass through each section.
Wait a sec. I'm restarting.
Ok. Draw a mental pic (or real pic) of a circle. Now draw a smaller circle inside that circle. This circle should be the size of the cornucopia in relation to the rest of the arena. Now separate the first circle into three sections (like a peace sign..sort of) but don't draw lines through the second smaller circle.... Do you understand??
Hmmm. I feel like I make no sense.
Anywho, if you get it, the three parts from Olivia's description would be these three part and game makers can still control the weather and everything.
You know what? I think I posted a description of an arena like this before....One with a lot of monsters.....
Anyone have any other ideas?
Asa, do you think we should give each description a number and then make a poll in order to find out which is the best for the arena? Or should the mods try to morph everyone together in an effort to pick a good final arena? So many questions so little time...

Hmmm. That is a good idea....
If anyone else has arena ideas speak them now or forever hold your peace!
Then we can start step one. THE MORPH!!!!!

My name for phase uno. The morph is when we morph together all of the arena ideas to form one super arena.......it is a work in process....

I think it's a surprise. :)

OOH! I like it!

No sun, but the area around is lit as if from fluorescent lights.
There are 12, very different, circular areas in the arena, separated by heavily running water. The tributes are scattered in the 12 different areas of the Arena, each district in a pair, side by side or not.
Each area has it's own mini Cornucopia, and what isn't in your District's cornucopia you're gonna have to fight for.
Zeus' tributes: You two are standing on opposite sides of your cornucopia, which is gleaming silver. You can see huge axes, tiny daggers, backpacks, and what looks like ONE tent. Your circle is a huge forest, evergreen trees mixed with deciduous. There is one hole straight through the cornucopia, and through it, you can see the other District 1 tribute...
~~~
Poseidon's tributes: You, lucky-luckies, are standing in a circular desert, with a cornucopia of dusty bronze right in front of you. You're standing side by side, so close that if you wanted you could reach out and hold hands. Now that'd be something sweet for Panem to see! The cornucopia holds water bottles, backpacks, the occasional dagger or sword or other weapon. You can just barely see the water separating you from a pebbly beach, a grassland, and a forest. It'll take about a day to reach the edge, and you both know that there's hardly enough water there for a day. Who knows if the separating water is poisoned or not?
~~~
Hades' tributes: You're the ones in the pebble circle. The occasional bush has managed to peek through the smooth, rounded stones. The green copper cornucopia looks old, like it's going to fall apart any minute. Inside you can see all sorts of weapons, but no sign of food or water. You're going to have to kill or join for that. If the others have any, that is. You couldn't possibly know! You glance over at your partner. Several yards separate you two tributes from 3...
~~~
Hera's tributes: You're stationed in what looks like a small town, complete with houses, big campfire in the middle, and a look-out tower. This last part, however, looks very old, and some of the supporting posts are definitely rotted. Your cornucopia is the houses and firepit, which does have some firewood, but no real kindling, or shelter if it rains. Who knows what is hidden in those houses: A bunch of food, a couple weapons, dangerous creatures...
~~~
Athena's tributes: You, my friends, are standing at opposite ends of a very large, open, grassy field. You cannot tell what your cornucopia is made of, it's too covered in climbing vines that writhe and squirm. Through those you can see hints of silver and cloth. The grass reaches your ankles in places, and is above your head in others, though, when you're looking at it from the start, it's all the same height...
~~~
Hephaestus' tributes: One large circle of mountains and hills, snow-capped or otherwise. A tiny golden cornucopia sits right in the middle of them all, snuggled into foot-high snow. Backpacks, very warm looking fur coats, and a bunch of swords and throwing axes are piled high on the cornucopia, little indents marking the places where they'd fallen off. You stand three feet from the cornucopia, a sword lying right there, inches from your toes. But you know, right, that if you bend over, or move in any way, you'll go kaboom? I hope so, tributes from 6. Because the same might happen anywhere in the mountains...
~~~
Dionysus' tributes: Four small city blocks, you lucky ducks, is what you get fro a start-out. Complete with one skyscraper, a cafe with a sign that says 'Closed', and street lamps too! In the intersection of all four roads sits a solid concrete cornucopia, piled up with food and weapons. In fact, that's all you can see there. Which means if you want water, you're gonna have to leave this setup and get to the main water source.
~~~
Ares' tributes: A huge jungle. The cornucopia sits in the middle, but you can't see it. You can't see anything but the trees, and dangling branches and vines. The air is heavy with moisture, and after about 30 seconds of waiting, you're finding it a little bit more difficult than usual to breathe. You have no idea which way your facing, where the other District 8 tribute is, or what is awaiting you at the Cornucopia...
~~~
Artemis' tributes: You rise up into a giant cave, a huge, rough-rock cornucopia sits on a platform, several feet above lava. The only way to get there are thin, arching pathways, two of them. There are two exits, right behind each of you. Through that you can see a sandy beach and heavy-current water. The heat is getting to you after only a few seconds in there, and after about 30 seconds, sweat begins to break out on your forehead and arms. Better get out fast, or roast alive in this hole...
~~~
Apollo's tributes: You're in a huge garden. Roses, daisies, lilies, daffodils, every kind of flower you can think of, lined in an orderly fashion all over your little circle, though not necessarily in straight lines. A foot-thick circle of red, white, and yellow roses surround a yellow cornucopia. You can't see anything that's inside, except for the brown hilt of a sword that's sticking up above the top...
~~~
Demeter's tributes: Orchards. What you know best, right? Well, sure, there are fruit trees and such, but there are other things there, disguised as the trees you thought you knew so well. A tiny, tiny, shining golden cornucopia lies right in front of you both, right in the center of the circle. Swords, bows, arrows, daggers, and other weapons are inside, or lying haphazardly around it. There is, however, no sign of food, except for those rosy red apples and juicy-looking peaches...
~~~
Hestia's tributes: Your area is simple. A wall of rock encases you, and, unless you really feel like climbing 50 feet into the air on super-steep walls, you're gonna have to use the stairs, which, you should know, are guarded by extremely fierce creatures. A cornucopia the color of coal sits right in the center, and you two stand on opposite sides of the circle. Whenever a gust of wind comes in huge clouds of thick dust rise into the air and settle again.
Hermes' tributes: A huge snowy plane. Right in the center, a frozen lake. (Finished later)
MY THOUGHTS FOR AN ARENA!
But I don't think my traps are that good. They're kinda obvious to everybody. I bet someone chose my first one already it's so obvious!
I only got to district four but it is wonderful Eleanor. I love yours too Asa but I think Eleanor has this in the bag. I would love to use that idea for arena three, but could you change each district to godly parent? Also you may have to add a few more because there are 14 gods we are using. Maybe Asa's idea can be incorporated in another district place thing cause as I've said, we need 2 more.
By the way, what is the game maker contest?
