I'm reading "We Were Here" by Matt del la Peña. A judges sentences a young man to a year in a group home for a crime which has yet to be revealed. So far, I'm impressed! The characters seem very realistic.

Now that I've seen what a great author Benjamin Alire Saenz is (read: Sammy and Juliana in Hollywood), I'm going to start his last YA novel: Last Night I Sang to the Monster. He is the real deal.

Skinned is the first of three books in a series and they are all really good. I just finished reading them all! Highly recomend if you enjoyed the Uglies, Pretties, Special by Scott Westerfeld.

Crashed is the second.
Wired is the third.
