RE A Town Called Alice noted below. This is not any of the editions on Goodreads. It is a Book Club edition, hard cover, published in London in 1956, hence all the stuff on the cover. I have tried to add it without success but will try again.

yeah, I was wondering if murder would count like in a mystery? The book I am reading, one of the characters is murdered and she is a wealthy celebrity that had her own cooking show and is worth millions. So would something like that count?
Political intrigue is a plot point that has to do with the government....like spying, murder of a government official, etc.

Heather, I woke up in the middle of the night realizing that I had put 2 bodies!! My fault. But I didn't know I could only have one animal - I thought we could count all the DIFFERENT animals. Both Egypt and France are on the list and I put them both down because Zafara spent about 50% of his time in both cities in the book. So, to clarify, I only get to choose one animal and one city? I know you already said this but I just want to hear it again because I was SO thrilled that I got such a great cover with lots of points!!!!
Heather, I do think I am eligible for two points for Egypt and France since the rules say "each item in the category is worth one point. Both Egypt and France are listed.
Thank you Heather, I didn't realize I had put down Africa by mistake. And I am going to follow the rules that you just listed BUT - I didn't really see anything that SAID I couldn't count DIFFERENT animals. I do now understand that that was the intent and I will abide by that - sorry I got confused. I will redo my points now (alas, it was such a great cover for points, too!!!)
We'll ask Jackie to edit the rules to make that point more clear, Maude. Each category is only worth one point, total. :)
Thanks for understanding!
Thanks for understanding!
Oh, I do understand Heather and I am sorry I made that mistake - my enthusiasm took over my common sense - a frequent occurence! I appreciate your help.

Maude, sorry... one more nitpicky request... LOL
Can you make sure to point out what you're claiming points for (in this case regarding the title) just so that we're clear and there's no confusion?
Also, please link to the title as well since the cover images can be hard to see.
(OK, sorry I know that was two nitpicky requests. I'm done now... :D Thanks!) LOL

Maude wrote: "Amy, What a beautiful job of presentation. It is now my goal to be as efficient and clear and lovely as you in my future endeavors (Heather will be pleased!)Nice work!!"Thank you Maude. I'm all a-glow in your praise. The points system for this challenge is a little out-of-the-norm, so I needed to do something that even I could understand. And, presentation is everything.

Shannon, it looks like you shorted yourself a point for the grass on the cover.
Anna, can you please link the book cover you read? That way it's easy for us to verify cover points. :)
(If you're not sure how, you'd just click Add book/author & click 'cover' at the bottom of the box, then search.)

Becky, I wanted to add a hardcover book, The Listening House, by Mabel Seeley, but it is not in our data base or Amazon's. It is an interesting cover with water, tree and person with body so I really want to use it. Any suggestions?
Becky, Already looked - no cover! I have the cover, tho' and I can xerox it and send it to the book dept., but would like to post my book in the meantime.
Hmm... I will have to get with Jackie and Heather to discuss what we should do if the book information we need isn't readily verifiable.
It's not this one?http://www.amazon.com/Listening-House...
or this one:

Hi Rachel, the points you listed add up to 6. Did you leave out a category that was supposed to be listed? Or is 6 points correct?
