Error? Pinocchio and Charles Dickens?

Looks like it was corrected from Charles Dickens in the past, then something made the GR system add it back in as a second author. Wonky!
ETA: I see, it is importing CD as a second author from Barnes and Nobles - so the error is on their site. Hope this fix 'sticks'!

Thank you for fixing the error, Carolyn.

Good question, Chi.
Wiki says:
"Pinocchio ... is a fictional character that first appeared in 1883, in The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi, and has since appeared in many adaptations of that story and others."
See more at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinnochio
Indeed, Collodi was Italian, but I can't find any info about the translation. I suppose we just have to assume that it was translated from Italian to English or simply adapted into English.
PS-Ah, I just found the following at another Wiki page:
"Collodi, who died in 1890, was respected during his lifetime as a talented writer and social commentator, but his fame did not begin to grow until after Pinocchio was translated into English, for the first time in 1892, but, in particular, with the widely-read Everyman's Library edition of 1911."

Moloch, yes, you are correct. Perhaps that spelling should be corrected by a librarian as well, at the web page in question:

That was a good catch, Moloch. I hadn't noticed the two n's. I was too amazed at the Dickens error.
What the Dickens is going on here! (lol) (Pardon the pun... I couldn't resist it!)

Thanks Moloch!

It says:
Adventures of Pinnochio by Carlo Collodi, Charles Dickens
Does the name of Charles Dickens belong there? I didn't know that Dickens had anything to do with Pinocchio.
