I have just started the Beyond the Shadows which I am really enjoying. Reading all three back to back. Best fantasy I have read in a while.

I don't know why people compare them, except that they are both good at describing fighting. Abercrombie drives me crazy but I love Morgan. Give him a shot. I also shy away from authors that are compared to Abercrombie, but I'm learning that people see something in him that I don't, so I try to ignore it.

I liked Thirteen a little better than The Steel Remains.
