Daniel, are you still unable to view the friend list? Just to clarify, Member A is set to "goodreads members" but Member A can't view their own friend list when Oauthed?
I haven't checked yet today (I will tonight), but if member A is set to "Goodreads Members", Member A can't view their own friend list when making an OAuth signed request.
It still doesn't work if the privacy setting is set to " just my friends"
Ah, I figured out what was wrong. Thanks for the quick feedback, Daniel. It should be all sorted out in the next release.

Trying to get other users friends and running into an issue. Using the api, with oauth, I get "must be signed in". If I plug the generated url into the browser (this is a mobile app), it works fine and the data is returned. Is this a separate issue?

Right now users can't see their own friends from this API unless their privacy is set to 'anyone'. Even if they're using OAuth.
