'Hello' from another author

Out of sheer curiosity, or perhaps some subconscious vanity, I wrote the title of my self-published ebook into Google search and found it at this site.

So here I am with so many others. As a way of extending a friendly hand, I like to do reviews for other first-time (or relatively new) sci-fi and fantasy authors. As a Nook user, that offer is primarily made at nookboards.com. I've certainly had no shortage of submissions. If things slow down there, I may extend the offer to Goodread's author community as well. After all, what new author could pass up an offer of a review and a sale?
