Yay! I'm so glad to hear that, Zina! We're happy you found us.
Glad you stuck with Slave to Sensation, you'll find yourself sucked into her world and loving it. At least, I hope you will. ;)

Go, team, go! :D

** Tania, don't forget to post your review for City of Glass (or point me to it, if I've missed it). :)
New shelf to be announced Sunday!

And I'll finish

Daffodil....I have pulled a few nights of reading till I nodded off or else wake up early to get a few hours of reading in.....

As in her other books, it was full of excitement, adventure, strong characters and interactions which made it impossible to put down. Let`s just say that in this book, we get to experience the camaraderie and or rivalry of nearly every type of paranormal breed imaginable. For those of us who have read this series, many of our questions are answered however I am still left craving the next title available in April.
This series was truly a roller-coaster ride! I got on the ride in the first book then continued up the big hill and stayed there a while. I was then pushed off the edge through a series of hills, twists and turns at full speed, right to the finish. I can't wait for the next book!

@Zina, LOL! That's a frequent side-effect of the game. I'll be posting the new shelf later tonight (my time). Glad you're enjoyed Psy/Changeling! Nice to have them all lined up nicely waiting for you. :)
@Tania, so glad you've enjoyed the series so far. I'm with you - looking forward to City of Fallen Angels.

That's exactly how I do it too Daffodil. It's definitely a rude awakening, especially if its a hc!

Glad people are enjoying their picks!

An iGadget's an ereader, right? LOL I'd be terrified of rolling over while sleeping and squashing my Kindle ._.

I read both, but have been reading more eBooks lately. Main reason: space-saver!

I read both, too. Ebooks are convenient, but I always buy my favorite books as physical copies, also.
Will read Awakened for "_paranormal."

For my _paranormal read, I'm gonna continue with Harry and go with

If I wasn't so impatient, it woulda been

Review...
I've always been obsessed with pirate stories, there is just something mysterious and fascinating about them (despite all their plundering and murdering). This book, while a bit of a variation to the norm, definitely lives up to that awesome pirate-ness that I love. Even those little differences help make it such a damn good read.
Jill (who just so happens to be the 4th best fencer in the country for her age group), gets thrown back in time by a random series of events that sort of make it seem like fate. First her family vacation in the Bahamas, second she just happens to find a shard of a sword that is basically the key to her time travelling when she goes overboard. See? Random.
This 21st century girl becomes a part of the pirate world of the 1700’s. Wish things like that happened in real life :)
The story is very unique; I don’t think I’ve ever read anything comparable: time travel + pirates. Awesome.

WTG, Team!!
Glad you enjoyed your book, Jo! We're very close to getting our Free Space & shifters stamps! Hope everyone enjoys their paranormal read. I'm still deciding and will post my pick soon.

I bought my husband his very own kobo. His is black, mine is white.

Good idea on the different colored Kobos. No grabbing the wrong one accidentally.

I am going to read

YAY, More Psy/Changelings! Enjoy!

I am going to read "Dark Lover" book 1 from BDB. The series has such great reviews I figured I'd give it a try.
I'm still reading the "Clockwork Angel, the first book of infernal devices (since I loved the Mortal Instruments so much) and will start Dark Lover as soon as I'm done.
I am currwntly reading my books on my iPhone (seems ro take twice as long) while I wait for My iPad 2 for my birthdy next month.

Funny, I tend to read faster on my iGadgets than I do paper books. And, YAY! iPad for your birthday! FUN! Happy Early Birthday!

Agreed. Warning about BDB - the bad guys - the Lessers are terribly annoying for the first 5 or 6 books. They are the keystone cops of villains. I skimmed through those parts.
I also agree about reading on ereaders and gadgets. Way faster and easier on my eyes.

I've been thinking about getting that...bumping it up on my list!
RE:BDB...have to agree 'bout the Lessers! Think about baby powder a little bit differently now, though.

Review: This book drew me in and I didn't want to let it go. I won't spoil, but the opening chapters were beautiful, funny and exactly perfect. I wouldn't have the events take place any other way, they fit the situation and personalities to a T.
In this book, the "big bad" has it's roots in Native American lore. As she explores the situation, Mercy learns more about her origins and her heritage. Though the pack makes brief appearances, for the majority of the book Mercy and Adam spend time alone and it's wonderful to see just how well they fit. Past difficulties, struggles and fights with others have built a solid base for their relationship to grow upon.
Loved this book and can't wait to get the next one.

Review: I love that Hunter has given Jane and Beast distinctive voices and personalities. The complexities of their relationship and the give-and-take neccessary for their survival in one body is written beautifully. Other relationships played important parts in the story as well. The slow seduction being played out between Jane and Bruiser continues and were some of my favorite sequences in the book. Rick is "off-screen" the majority of the book, but Jane's feelings for him are central to her resistance to Bruiser and also play an important role in resolving the situation with the werewolves. Overall a wonderful read and I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Side note: I noticed I've had a lot of 5 star books already this year. I'd think I've been in an exceptionally good mood lately if it wasn't for the fact that there are a few books I absolutely hated and gave low ratings to. I think it has more to do with the fact I've been going more with proven authors lately and reading books further into favorite series.

But a lot of the pretty covers hide horrible books... Hope my read turns out OK, since I have to write an actual review for it -.-

A surprisingly unique story, about a 600 year old vampire woman and an even older vampire hunter, who wants to kill her.
When both the vamps and the hunters (a group that consists, mostly, of a bunch of librarian-type people) decide they have a common enemy, they all set out to eradicate said enemy.
While the story may seem a little been-there-done-that, its really not. Mira, the vamp chick, is actually all-powerful, not all-talk, which backs up that ass-kicker attitude she exude's... One word: pyrokinesis :)
