"Pwned" is gamer speak for "owned". It's actually, depending on who you ask, either a misspelling of the word "owned", or a mash-up of the emoticon for sticking your tongue out - :p - with the word "owned".

What's pathetic is that I'm not a gamer, yet I know this.
