I have been bad and not done much on this challenge, except for the "C" in March. I have like five of them. LOL. I better get focused.

UGGGH! I bet it is! I hated my anatomy class!
I used the coloring book for my anatomy class, which helped. I would recite memory techniques over and over again while driving to school; sometimes singing them (Never Lower Tillie’s Pants, Mother May Come Home, for the bones in the wrist, right? Through God knows what they
really
are). We had two looooong semesters of anatomy! Then I had to repeat them when I went back for my BSN. Aghh! The second semester it really helped that a medical intern from Stanford joined (he needed a refresher). One time we couldn't get to the cadaver to study the muscles and ligaments. Luckily, he'd brought his white lab coat, walked through another professor’s classroom during a lecture, and opened the back door to the refrigerated room where the body was kept. I aced that practical exam! And I learned to act just like you are supposed to be there when sneaking in some place. LOL!

Alright, *sigh* I'm changing my previous selections; however, with a little work I think I'll be able to spell M.A.R.C.H. twice:6/10 completed

don't think I'm gonna finish this one or even finish ONE of them! Been a busy month AND I had a week wehre I was sick with the flu and barely even read. Plus internet down at home (it's working right now temporariliy for the first time in over a week so not sure how long it will last. LOL)

Lisa Kay wrote: "I used the coloring book for my anatomy class, which helped. It has really helped with the studying. We just started working with the cadaver, wow its so fascinating! My husband thinks I'm morbid for getting so excited about a cadaver.
Kelley wrote: "don't think I'm gonna finish this one or even finish ONE of them! Been a busy month AND I had a week wehre I was sick with the flu and barely even read. Plus internet down at home (it's working rig..."I'm sorry you had the flu, that stinks. Impossible to read when you're really sick.
Valorie wrote: "My husband thinks I'm morbid for getting so excited about a cadaver."Valorie, I found it exciting also. The human body is a miracle! I don't think I'm morbid. The professor was really cool and said some neat things about respecting a body that was once loved. It really stuck with me. Always remembered it whenever I had to do post-mortem care on a patient.
One of the most offensive/disturbing things that ever happened to me or to a dead body was when one of my sisters-in-law lifted my dead mother-in-law's hand up out of the casket and gave me the finger. Terrible! It was something she would have never done to me while living.
P. S. Having the intern point out and find things on the cadaver really, really helped.

Thanks for me laugh so hard, that coffee came out of nose! The finger?! LMAO!!!!!
My professor is fantastic, he is one of the best teacher's I've had in college so far. He gave us the same "respect the body" speech. It is so amazing how the body functions and is put together, sometimes I cant believe how complex and in tandem everything seems to work!

Good job Barbara!!
I'll post tonight. I think I might be done or close to it by then, okay? Sorry I didn't post yesterday.

Oh dear, Just got invited over for a dinner and a movie. Oh well, I was going to read
anyway, which is NOT on my M.A.R.C.H. challenge.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Oh dear, Just got invited over for a dinner and a movie. Oh well, I was going to read

I know! There was a period there where I wondered what the Hell I was spelling!?! I was studdering on C's. LOL! Oh well, I spelled something on another challenge, that is why I'm running late on this one. I'll post about the movie in the proper thread.
Alright, *deep sigh* I'm changing my previous selections yet again! Sorry for the late posting, but dinner and the movie were great.8/11 completed

I’m not going to make it by the end of March (30 minutes from now)! I bit off more than I could chew. And my new books came by mail today, so I lost interest in re-reading The Rose and the Warrior. Don’t know when I’ll get to it either. LOL!10/11 completed

I got all excited before I went to bed last night b/c I remembered I read
this past month (it was a give-away) and hadn't applied it to any of the many challenges to which I signed up. I thought I could use it for my second "R".I know, I know. It doesn't start with an "R". Though it wouldn't be a title, I thought the heroine's name was Rachel or Rebecca and I could fudge this second "R" book (as I signed up to spell M.A.R.C.H. twice, afterall, and rules are made to be bent a little). Now why did I think that was her name when it is Julia Darling? Is it b/c I've read the names of too many heroines (and secretly inserted my own)? Also, there's the fact that Paul Otto, the hero, calls everyone by their last name; hence, he calls Julia “Darling” through most of the book, except toward the end when he calls her “darling, Darling”. Cute.
But, not of much use to me in this challenge! And why can't I just admit that I frequently bite off more than I can chew – it’s the story of my life?

Michelle wrote: "If a book is not in the group bookshelf, please add it! Thank you!"Okay, Michelle. I've been listening to an audiobook most of the night. While doing so, I believe I have entered everyone's books onto the group's bookshelf that were missing. That should cover what we have read since January through March, 2011...and some of April. :o) But maybe I should double check when I come back to listen to the rest of the book.
