[Greek Vampire Pixie, is MUFASA]

She gave him a smile and placed a hand over her stomach. "I'm sure. I'm afriad that if I eat, I'll get sick. I've been having trouble with my digestive system ever since I was taken into an emergency surgery at the School after I got into a nasty fight with an Eraser in which I nearly got my stomach torn out, so I eat very little. But, thank you for the concern."

He blinked a little, caught off guard by her lengthy explanation. He cleared his throat a little and spoke again. "Well, if you do get hungry, we have food."

Kristi bit her lip. She picked up a fork and set it down on her plate. She very carefully started to eat. She had to eat slowly or else she couldn't find the taco again. (make sense?)

Dane started eating too, savoring the spicy taco meat, the corn tortilla shell, the melted cheese, and the crisp lettuce. He never felt happier.

Kristi finished eating her small taco. She got out a small protein bar from her backpack and started to eat that afterwards.

Lily sighed and watched the ground sadly. "May I ask you guys something?"

"Yes?" Kristi said turning her head until she could *see* Lily. She was really using something like echolocation to find her.

"Are all of you experiments?"

"Well yes...I thought you knew that because I lost my jacket." Kristi said surprised ruffling her feathers.

She smiled. "I know about you, I was just wondering about everyone else."

"Oh...I don't know what they look like but I am guessing they are." Kristi said sadly. She wanted to *see* their wings and faces.

"Yep, we are," Dane confirmed.

Kristi smiled. "What colors? Can I feel them?" She asked.

"Sure, I guess." Dane set his plate down and took off his jacket. Out of the slits in his shirt, his wings slid out. The were brown with white speckles, the feathers were soft, yet sturdy. He held them out to her. "They're right in front of you."

Kristi nodded and reached out. She ran her small hands over his wings taking in every detail. She memorized the rustle they made and stepped back. "They feel...beautiful." She decided.

Lily blinked and looked away, feeling even more out of place. "Okay..."

Kristi smiled slightly. "Weirded out? I am just memorizing their feel and sound. May I?" She asked Lily.

Lily hesitated before standing with her back to the girl. She said, "They're right im front of you..." She extended her soft, silvery wings.

Kristi nodded and did the same to Lily as she did to Dane. When she finished she took her hands off of her wings. "They also feel pretty."

Lily quickly hid,her wings. "Yeah..."

Kristi smiled. "Thank you..." She mumbled tilting her head down.

"You're welcome..." She crossed her arms across her chest, feeling revealed.

Kristi bit her lip. She had heard the small rustle of Lily crossing her arms. "I won't reveal it...." She said spreading her 15 feet wingspan.

She smiled and grabbed a plate. She sat on the ground and began eating.

Kristi groped around the ground making sure there was nothing there. She nodded satisfied and pulled out a tent. She got to work building it slowly.

"I can help you," Lily offered.

Kristi smiled. "Thank you." She held out some of the pieces.

Lily smiled, took them, and started to put them in place.

Kristi smiled. She could hear Lily putting the tent together.

Without speaking, Dane got up and started helping too.

Kristi heard Dane get up. "Thank you..." She mumbled. She felt kind of useless at the fact that she couldn't even put a tent together.

"No problem," he said, smiling. Then he remembered that she couldn't seen it and went back to work.

Kristi smiled slightly. "Do you know how to let me read facial experrsions? You put my hand up to the persons face." She said. She didn't like like him but wanted to see if he was smiling or not.

Jax looked up and walked over to Dane.

"Need any help?" she asked.

Dane looked over at Jax and smiled. "Sure." He scooted over to allow her room to work alongside him. He turned back to Kristi. "Neat. But I don't really know you like that."

Kristi smirked slightly. "Thats what most people say. I don't like people. Like...you know like like people. It's hard to when you are blind"
