Savita frowned for a minute thinking.
Take the first chance I have to report back to the School.
"Be friendly, I guess."

Stella continued down the street, moving fast as her intense eyes scanned each face in the crowd. Each face was individual, unique… but noting familiar yet. She listened to the constant chatter around her, sharp ears picking up on bits and pieces of conversations as she passed by. A small smile came to her lips. She would miss the city.
But along with the sense of community that came with being around people, there were dangers as well. Such as, focusing too much on people around you and not enough on people after you. Which Stella realized with a startled gasp as she felt a large hand grab onto her jacket and roughly shove her out of the crowd and into an alleyway.
Without looking back for her attacker, she scrambled further into the alley, letting the dark shadows from the buildings on either side hide her. One thing she had learned from fighting: Being caught by surprise is bad. She needed a good view of her opponent before fighting back.
And there they were, walking steadily towards her. At least three men, dressed in neat black suits. Conspicuous much? she thought to herself, although she knew Erasers didn’t care about standing out. As they approached, Stella flinched, watching as a beam of light hit the gun, reflecting off of its metal surface. Guns are also bad, especially if being handled by a determined wolf-bird mutant. Heart dropping, she moved behind a dumpster, reaching for her own gun. A chill ran up her spine as the Eraser finally spoke, voice rough and dangerously calm.
“We know you’re there, sweetie. You can’t stay hidden forever. We have orders to hurt you as little as possible. In fact, we’re not even taking you back home.” He took a step forward.
“We just want a little chat.”
Stella’s hands gripped around her gun, her mind racing. Any second, the Erasers were bound to realize where she was. The dumpster had given her temporary cover, but it also allowed her to be trapped on both sides. Her eyes closed for a moment in concentration, using her last resource. Her grin returned in amusement when she heard the men’s yells as trash started to fly out of the dumpster and towards them. There was a particularly satisfying bang as a metal crate whacked into an Eraser’s head, knocking him to the ground. Stella herself waited a few moments, then stepped out into the light. She punched the one remaining man square in the face and kicked him back into the brick wall of the building. He immediately crumpled to the ground on impact.
“A chat? I don’t think so.”
Scanning the unconscious Erasers, she returned the unused gun to her belt. The School had definitely been the worst thing in her life, and her biggest wish was to see its destruction. But killing like this… killing just didn’t seem right. She had killed before, more times then she liked to remember, and she wasn’t proud of it. She hated the empty feeling it left her with. Even though she knew it was an idiotic commitment, Stella had promised not to kill again unless she absolutely had to.
Their guns she took, putting in her own pack, but she couldn’t find anything else of use on them. It was strange. No money, no phones, nothing. The School was being especially careful. Not taking the time to move the bodies, she walked back into the bright street and continued on her way, understandably slightly more jumpy and alert this time.
I knew staying here would be a bad idea.
One hour.

By now, Devyn had gotten bored and was walking down the street, looking for another place to preform. She ad just spotted a nice looking park ahead, when suddenly she saw a girl get pulled into an alley! She wanted to go and help, but she had no fighting skills whatsoever, as she had been adopted by one of the scientists from the school and had never even seen an eraser. Luckily, the girl emerged a few minutes later, seemingly unscathed.
"Hey! You! Are you okay?" she called, jogging after the girl.

Scarlett looked up now, returning to the world around her. How long had she been sitting there, just daydreaming? Hell, she didn't even remember what she was thinking about.
Probably wasn't important, she thought.
She watched people walk by for a while. Some talked on cellphones, others were taking pictures, everyone was doing something. Except her. She was a rooted piece of coral in the rushing currents of Chicago.
Scarlett always wondered what it was like to be normal. To be able to go anywhere without having to look over your shoulder in constant paranoia. To have friends who you could trust and who wouldn't get killed by your enemies. To not have enemies. That kind of life seemed blissful, almost.
But, then again, she'd choose the ability to fly any day.
I want to leave..., she thought, standing up and starting to walk. She hadn't flown in days and couldn't take it anymore. Scarlett would walk out of the city on foot if she had to.
And that's just what she began to do.

((Haha, forty-five minutes or so?
Scarlett better not leave before Stella finds her or Stella will be soo pissed. ;D))
Stella started a little before looking over at the girl who had called to her. She stopped and waited for her to catch up, surprised that someone had actually seen her disappear into the alley through the mass of people. Stepping out a little towards the park area, she gave the girl a wary smile. Now that she way closer, Stella noticed that she had fine auburn hair and stunning green eyes. Another part of paranoid: wanting to recognize every little detail, even the appearance of a random person on the street.
"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Uh...yeah, sure. I'm just gonna..." she gestured vaguely and slipped off into the bathroom. Shutting the stall door behind her, she pulled the phone out of her pocket. 23 missed calls.
"Dammit."
"Dammit."

Pyro sighed and decided to wait by the door. She got up and started making her way through the crowd.

Savita glanced up cautiously, then dialed.
"Finally, we've been calling."
"I know, I know. I've been...occupied."
"Have you found anymore?"
Savita hesitated for a moment. Yes or no?
"It's possible," she said slowly.

((... I haz gotten to spatter fake blood on a fake citeh todeh.))
"That's not the answer we're looking for," the voice said sharply.
Savita bit her lip hard, tasting the coppery tang of blood on her tongue. Reaching up to wipe it away, she made a split-second decision--one she'd probably regret. "I think I have."
"We'll send a team."

Stella looked over at the girl, who was slightly shorter than herself, and smiled. "I can take care of myself, thanks," she replied, not actually answering the question.

Pyro was getting impatient. She was an impatient person, and she never bothered to practice patience. She tried to occupy her waiting with making a mental list of signs of birdkids, like bulky jackets and unusual strength.
