Belial smirked like a well-fed cat as he loped from the club, his thin, tiny frame oozing self-confidence, ragged clothing standing out in the well-off street.
That went better than I expected, vessel, I did not know you were a barterer the Grae whispered in his mind.
There are many things you do not know, Grae he replied, scratching idly at his throat, collar of his shirt stretched across his shoulders, bare feet padding across the busy street.

You do realize that normal people don't hiss like a cat. the Grae informed, prodding him away.

Remember, Belial. the Grae hissed.
"I am fine," he smirked, tucking his feet beneath him.

Pyro was on a random building's rook, looking down at the scenery. Nothing exciting, nothing exciting, not much else...

Savita glanced down, noticing a person crouched on top of a building. Check it out or not? But the deli...I *am* hungry...Tough choice.

Zero walked away suddenly, staring up at the sky.
His head was now in the clouds- and it's pretty damn hard to get him back.
He walked down the cold pavement streets of Chicago, the city known for its wind.
I can't retrace my steps anymore-the story's already begun.

((Haha, nice guys! I'm back for a bit.
RedPath, I was just wondering whether you wanted Stella to go back into the deli or continue walking or what. I don't have a plan, either. xD))

Scarlett sat down at a table just as Devyn walked in. She raised an eyebrow, biting into her sandwich. She had a guitar case. Performing for money, probably.
RedPath wrote: "((Oops, I thought she stayed XD She can go off. I've already finished my plan))"
((Nope, she started to leave back in post 40.
... *rereads* Darn, I guess I really didn't make that clear. You've got to stop assuming that people can read your mind, Swifty. >.<
Now I dunno what to do with Stella. She'll probably go back to her hotel room and get her stuff, then meet up with y'all somehow afterwards. But I'll have to post sometime tomorrow, because it's 1 in the morning at the moment.
ALSO. Should we stop letting people into this roleplay, since it's getting pretty crowded?))

((XD It's fine, Swifty. Mind reading is creepy, anyway.
And I'd say yes. We've got a bajillion people in this one.))

((Yes. Yes it is. xD
ALRIGHT THEN IT'S SETTLED. We might need to move a few people to that flock from here, too.))
Stella made her way down the street, pushing past the crowds and stealing a few more wallets while keeping track of the blocks and street signs. Big cities were easy to get lost in, and not knowing where one is was not a good thing. Up above it was a blue, cloudless day, but Stella could see the smoke in the distance and remembered what Kelly had said about pollution.
Finally, she reached the small hotel that she had checked into three nights ago. Three nights. That was her limit. Even staying that long made her nervous. Quickly, she climbed the stairs (elevators made her squirm) and walked to her door. Before going in, like always, she checked the small piece of clear tape she had put between the door and the doorframe. It was a handy way to tell if someone had been in your room, especially since she had asked the hotel not to clean her room.
The tape was torn cleanly in half.
((Haha, I would write more but my family and I are going to see True Grit. :D I’ll finish the post when I get back!))

((That is, if they want to go >.>))
Scarlett finished her food, earning a few stares from other customers. She pretended not to notice.
That's what a lot of her life was; pretending. Pretend that you're normal. Pretend that you're not on the run. Pretend that the ground you're sleeping on is a king-size bed with freshly washed sheets. That's how she survived her first few years on the run, by pretending. Eventually, though, she had begun to cherish the rough and tumble life of a birdkid.
At eight years old, she had developed a hard skin. Everyone, herself included, thought that she had an advantage. When she was older, they said, she would be able to endure much more than they ever could. It made her proud, the thought of being strong enough to conquer mountains.
In reality, it only set her up for disaster.
They whad been ambushed; attacked from behind. No one was aware that they were being followed. No one was even sure how the erasers found them. They weren't prepared to fight, and the results were devastating. Only two others survived, as far as Scarlett knew. But she couldn't be sure, because she never saw them again.
Even if they had lived, Scarlett thought sadly, They were older than me. Chances are that they're dead now.
So much for strength
Scarlett felt the burning itch to fly now. But that wasn't the best idea while in the city of Chicago. There were too many risks of getting caught, and she really didn't feel like being in the tabloids.
Scarlett walked into the park and settled herself onto a bench, stretching her legs out and crossing them at the ankles. she took off her hat and held it in her hands, idly carressing the stitching while she went deep into thought. What she was thinking about?
Where to go next.
((XD Watch it be the maids.
THAT MOVIE IS AMAZING. AND VIOLENT. ENJOY!))

((Yay, Vanilla!))
Savita's eyes locked on the girl, and her hand instinctively went to the dagger at her hip, but she didn't draw it. Better to see what you're dealing with first.
Her backpack was slung across both shoulders, firmly securing the laptop within it.

Pyro saw slight wariness in the other girl, but decided to shrug it off. "Hi!" She waved spaztically.

"Savita," she said curtly.
Now, why on earth did you use your real name?
"I'm going to guess you like fire?"

And… I didn’t really like True Grit. At all. Well, I understand why a lot of people did like it, but it’s really not my kind of movie.
