Also I hate Aspen in The Selection!!! He's just kind if *there*, and even after all the connection main girl has with the obvious love interest, she still comes back to Aspen, the guy who cheated on her and comes crawling back when she becomes famous,

I kind of want to say Bella Swan, but I was 10 or something when I read twilight, so in my mind she was a great character, haha. So i'm gonna go with Teresa from The Maze Runner. She was just awfully annoying and i never really understood which side she was on or what her opinion was on things.
Bella Swan. She has no personality and sends a horrible message to preteens/teens like me. All she craves is sex and she throws her life away for some guy she literally just met...
Sorry I had to get that off my chest. I don't understand why main characters that are female are often incredibly dumb(referring mostly to some popular books that everyone else but me likes). And they're usually written by FEMALE authors!!
June and Day from Legend (by Marie Lu). They are attractive and good at like everything. They have absolutely no flaws and are very shallow!
I am probably in the minority everywhere when I say Harry Potter.... ALL of the supporting characters were much more interesting. Harry Potter was, from the beginning, the Hero. The way he was written left no room for growth and change. He grew up as far as age and size, but everything about him remained the same. Neville Longbottom, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Professor Snape, etc., are all infinitely more interesting.

Dawn, I do agree with your this point... but that's the thing... He was normal as far as any one can go... (except quidditch :p ) and it's a story of normal guy who doesn't shoot up to be super brave or super powerful but remains almost the same.. valuing and dependent on friends choosing right over wrong (subjective i know, still...) ^_^ it's probably why I like the story.. :)
but Worst character? for me na... he is just too perfect of a normal...
