Lol I've come up with a few more since i finished the list. I'm surprised i missed so few though.

Though putting my list together is thanks alot to my computer. I was able to go through my bookmarks for a good bit of it, then my RSS feeds, then my library's stupidly thorough list of books i've checked out.

Lol i'll be honest i started reading Otaku USA only cause it was cheaper. It has lead me to many good series, though Amazon and random genre searches have found quite a few more including such great ones as Dorohedoro which was recommended to me because i liked Deadman Wonderland

I'll admit to owning one copy of Otaku USA and I really understand why it is cheap. Three animes and only two were translated, the other was the second episode to one and it was just in Japanese with on subs, after that I decided that I'd rather buy manga.
I do random searches on manga sites and such, in fact I've found many that people just randomly mention, notice it somewhere else, or found on it's own.

Lol it's obviously been a while since you bought it. they now give you a key to watch anime online instead of giving out DVDs and they quit doing the posters in the center. As more of a manga reader than an anime fan the DVD wasn't a big loss to me. It did keep the price down on it enough that i could afford it though.

Why a key when you can already watch most anime online in both sub and dub. And I like the centerfold posters I have all my Newtype and my one OtakuUSA on my walls. >_> They could of kept that, now I don't want to give them money in any form.

They get my money only because i like having magazines and I finally canceled my SJ subscription. I got tired of their crap, they would get near the climax of an arc and then they'd do a volume push. Which leads more and more of us to reading online. Naruto is the worst offender, but One Piece has done it, and Bleach picked up at a weird point. Then they started stealing translators so they could do naruto volume pushes so they dropped to from like 9 manga a month to Naruto, Bleach, Onepiece, Yu-gi-oh something-or-other, and the one by stan lee... that nobody nobody i've met really cares about. and thier big announcement was one good series that wasn't permanent and one you could read online.

Alright, I need your help. I have only ever read one manga series in my life, and I absolutely loved it. It was over 10 years ago and it was lent to me by a friend I have no more contact with. I can't for the life of me remember the title or even the name of the characters. I've been trying for a couple of years to find it with no luck. This is my last resort.
It was about a girl, I remember all the books had her on the cover, and she had black hair. It wasn't a romance or girly story, it was more action and violence. I think at one point she couldn't remember who she was, maybe that was the point of the story. But she was a fighter of some kind... Like I said, over ten years ago, I'd be surprised if anyone knows what I'm talking about, but it's worth a shot...
