Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Glad you enjoyed it Melanie, I really did like that series. Enjoy the next two, and the rest of your time in Paris *jealous*. Michelle, I'm happy to hear that the joy just keeps moving forward :)

layla is a picky reader | 667 comments Hi Inga,

I finished reading my picks :D.
Pleasure Unbound was a good book. I found it similar to Dark Lover and it really opened my appetite for this series . I finished reading the following two and now I'm thinking about reading Lore's story .Thank you for this wonderful rec!
Also, I've read The Viscount Who Loved Me which I really enjoyed and I've already marked as to read several other Bridgerton books.I loved the fights between the hero and the heroine, really funny.
Queen of Shadows was ok,I could say.The story wasn't bad but I felt that the characters had no in-depth.There were scenes that were very shallow treated.

Overall, thanks a lot for the recs!

Sarah Dizon (sarahd828) | 236 comments I finished Abithica but I totally forgot to post on here! I found it to be very interesting, especially the concept/premise. I liked the love between the two main characters although it seemed a bit rushed. I have a feeling there's going to be a second book although that hasn't been mentioned anywhere yet.

Debbie (db_debber) | 2757 comments Penney - Thanks for the push to read Wicked Lovely, really enjoyed this particular take on the fae kind. Now I have to put Ink Exchange on my tbr :o)

message 556: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments I'm seriously considering reading Wicked Lovely myself. I'm glad to hear it was good, I'll put it on my TBR :)

D.G. | 4477 comments Pam,

I finished reading The Knife of Never Letting Go and although the story wasn't bad, I ended up hating the main character so I'll definitely won't continue reading the trilogy.

I don't have time to try any other of your picks this month but I saved a few to read later.

Autumn (sweetdenial) | 1471 comments Amanda: I finished reading Blame It on Paris by Laura Florand a few days ago, but im stil waiting for my thoughts to simmer so i can give this book a proper review. It was definitely worth the read!!! i really enjoyed it!!!

i will get back here when review is done! xxxxxxx

Well, there is no surprise you haven't enjoyed Queen of Shadows so much as I have :) it's one of those books which some people love while others simply don't :)
"

Thanks! Lore's book was good, very angsty sometimes but I liked it.Now I'm starting Sin Undone but I've noticed that after her story, there's no following book except Overkill. Is the series over?

layla is a picky reader | 667 comments Inga wrote: "Yes, Demonica series ends with Sin's story, however, new series Lords of Deliverance starts soon with Eternal Rider. We'll get some glimpses into Demonica heroes and heroines' lives in this new series. "

Oh,then it's all good! We get to meet new characters and also keep up with the Demonica couples *relieved sigh* Thanks for answering!

message 561: by Miss (new)

Miss | 330 comments Kami, I finished your rec, Black Dust Mambo, 03/12, really liked it, it was very fast paced, sometimes insanely so, and the voodoo elements were original and interesting. Thank you.

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Jane (PS) wrote: "I haven't yet finished Tomorrow, When the War Began (15% to go!). Be done on Sunday!"

I've now finished Tomorrow, When the War Began (yesterday) - my buddy read with Melissa. It was good - definitely appealing to teenagers I suspect. The romance was too clunky and forced but the action, whilst unbelievable, was good. Loved the premise. :)

message 563: by Shelley (new)

Shelley | 141 comments Heather,

Thanks so much for recommending Bitten. I started this book last summer and just could not get into it, but when you suggested it I thought I would give it another go. I really liked it. Can't wait to grab the next in the series! I also read Don't Tempt Me... (Harlequin Blaze #253). I wasn't a huge fan. It was o.k.. Thankfully it was short. Oh well. Then I read Black Magic. I'm really a fan of Cherry Adair. I enjoyed this book alot. I am anxious to read her new series coming out soon. It seems that it might not be paranormal. I'm glad because her stuff before she went into all the magic stuff I thought was better.

Valerie,

Sorry I'm a little behind. I would love to read Fallen. I know you already finished it, but I'm going to pull it out and read it. I'll let you know what I think when I'm done.

message 564: by Sue (new)

Sue (knitwitsl) | 226 comments I just finished Jane's Warlord. I've had it in my tbr pile for a long time, so I thought this would be a good one to pick this time. But I really did not like the book. Oh well. At least it's not in my pile anymore!

I'm not a fan of faer stories, but i have to say the first book at least was pretty interesting. I only read it because of this challenge too, a couple of months ago.

Tania | 644 comments In order to further enhance our ability to quickly add books from the pick it for me's to our ever growing tbr piles I've created a list of the books that will be edited alongside the list I post here.

Just to make it more fun (and because what's a list without the ability to vote) I've added a category which says what we're voting for. This month is the most Beautiful Cover.

So please - go ahead and have some fun voting throughout the month. (my votes are not my preferences just the order the books were mentioned here)

List location: http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/93...

~Megan~ (megadee) Laura,

I finished my PIFM book, Nightshade, and gave it 3 stars. I loved the mythology, but was not a fan of the love triangle. Thanks for the awesome recs! :)

message 576: by Melissa ** (new)

Melissa ** | 544 comments Hi Jane (PS), I finished Slave to Sensation. It was so good and I gave it 4 stars. I will definitley read more of the series. I'm about 100 pages in Dark Lover and I can definitley see what all the hype is about!!! I feel like I'm being an overacheiver reading all the books you picked, LOL, but I was already going to read almost all of them anyway!!!

Rossy (naughtybookjunkie) | 2192 comments Melissa, you're on for a treat. Those 2 are some of my favorite PNR series. I'm itching to get my hands on the upcoming releases!

How nice that you have a few books still to go before you're as anxious many fans of these series.

Lacy (lacy_stewart) | 1966 comments Hi Miss!
Just wanted to let you know that I started The Pillars of The Earth. The Pillars of the Earth (The Pillars of the Earth, #1) by Ken Follett I am 95 pages in and so far it is really good.

message 583: by Alexis (new)

Alexis (teacher2013) Hello everyone! I'm kind of new here and really excited to try this challenge out next month! I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing the sign ups anywhere correct? I assume they haven't started yet but I don't want to be blind and miss them. Thanks!

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Alexis, usually the signups are posted about a week to 10 days before the end of the month. Look sometime next week. And Welcome!

message 585: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Hi Alexis: And to add to Jim's comment - it will be a separate topic in the Monthly Challenges section. You really shouldn't miss it, even if you are blind! :)

Laura Williams | 144 comments Becky-

I changed my mind and decided to read Angelfire. I gave it four stars. It was an easy read and def kept my attention. I can't wait for the next book to come out! I am going to still try to squeeze Gargoyle in this month, wish me luck.

Yeah, a whole bunch are coming out between the 22nd and 29th. Also some at the beginning of April. I'm going to be so broke!LOL

Diane ~Firefly~ | 1511 comments A_Vishous_Fan,

I read The Demon You Know by Christine Warren. Thanks for getting it off my TBR. I'm going to have to check and see if brother, Noah, gets his own book in this series. :)

message 594: by Rossy (new)

Rossy (naughtybookjunkie) | 2192 comments Diane, are you reading that series in order?

Diane ~Firefly~ | 1511 comments Rossy wrote: "Diane, are you reading that series in order?"

I've read books 2 and 3 so far. But it was a long time between them. I'm willing to skip up to Noah's book if he has one though.

So I finally looked it up and looks like his is book 4. Then I look at what I own and wouldn't you figure I have 5 & 6, but no 4.

message 598: by Tania (new)

Tania | 644 comments It was actually the easiest way I found to keep track. The listopia list came from my insane desire to know what books I had on my tbr list (and okay, what ones I needed to write down to get / source)

(hello my name is Tania and I have a book addiction)

Oh, and you may want to reserve more than three messages at the start - because of the number of people we have I ran out of characters when doing the lists so had to do some creative juggling.

Yes, his book is #4. I would recommend reading this books in order though, make more sense like that because of the time-line, but go with the chronological order here.

message 600: by Debbie (new)

Debbie (db_debber) | 2757 comments great info Tania, I will keep that in mind.

(hello, my name is Debbie and I have a book addiction too)

I am always trying to find new ways of sorting, organizing and prioritizing my books. That might help :0)
