Ashlee...I just finished Second Glance and I only read it because I had it and wanted to read one of Jodi's books, (it had been awhile). I didn't think that I would like it but I was completely surprised, it was very good and I couldn't put it down. I think that you may be very pleased if you try it; it's different but very good.

message 55: by Carole (new)

Carole I'm going to borrow Vanishing Acts as soon as my friend finishes it. I can't wait!

Same with me, after it's been a while I usually go through a phase where I want to read a JP book. I have to break them up because I can't read one after another without getting bored. I think I will read Second Glance and House Rules. :)

Kitty Ashley (angelashly) wrote: "I just finished Plain Truth and love it. I am also waiting for her new one so I am trying to to decide between Mercy and Second Glance"

The Second Glance is stunning. Highly recommended.

Kitty Anna wrote: "Just finished Sing Me Home--I really enjoyed it. If you read it, just read it and not ponder the feasibility of the events. Having witnessed a Westboro Baptist protest for me it seemed very plausible."

How is the CD, did you enjoy the CD with the book?

message 60: by Susan (new)

Susan I'm just starting 19 Minutes!! I have heard so many great things about this book!!!

message 61: by Kitty (new)

Kitty I'll be reading Sing You Home.

message 62: by Ashlee (new)

Ashlee (ashlee_) | 83 comments I just got "A change of Heart" from a friend. I've been in the mood to read Jodi Picoult lately. At the beginning of the year I read a few of her books (The Pact, Handle with Care, Plain Truth, and my Sisters Keeper) but nothing in the last 4 months. I'm pretty excited. :) and Susan- I think you will LOVE it. 19 minutes was my first and favorite JP book.

message 63: by Susan (new)

Susan Thanks Ashlee, should I keep the tissues handy???

The change of heart is really an unforgettable book. If you like this one, you'll love the Tenth Circle!

message 65: by Ashlee (new)

Ashlee (ashlee_) | 83 comments I just finished reading Change of Heart the other day, I loved it!

Jessica- Plain Truth is one of my favorites!

I've read 19 minutes, Plain Truth, Handle with Care, Perfect Match, Salem Falls, My Sisters Keeper, The Pact, and Change of Heart. I didn't even realize how many books by her that I had read. I just love her novels. I know once I catch up on all of her books though, I'll be sad because whenever I'm in the mood to read a Picoult novel, I won't be able to just pick one up that I've already read (Unless she has a new one coming out). Her books are so captivating.

message 66: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Sichetti (msichetti) I'm currently reading Plain Truth. This is the first book I have read by the author and cannot out this book down. So Good! I can't believe I waited so long to discover Jodi Picoult!!

message 67: by Ashlee (new)

Ashlee (ashlee_) | 83 comments Melissa, that's awesome! Plain Truth is a great book to start off on! I'd read "19 minutes" next. That was one of my very favorites! I also really enjoyed "The Pact". It was really sad though.

message 68: by Ashlee (new)

Ashlee (ashlee_) | 83 comments Right now I am reading "The Tenth Circle". Before that I had read "Change of Heart" and I was told if I loved that one (which I did) then I would love this one, which I currently do! It's a really great story.

You'll love the Tenth Circle! But don't watch the movie, take my word for it.

message 70: by Ashlee (new)

Ashlee (ashlee_) | 83 comments Why shouldn't I watch the movie? Besides My Sisters Keeper I haven't seen any of the movies that came from her books, but I'd like to. I hear most of them are Lifetime Originals?

Kari Jennifer (karijennifer) | 12 comments I just finished The Tenth Circle last night, and I thought the story line was pretty simple.
SPOILER ALERT!!!!
I didn't think it was really necessary to kill Jason, but I guess that's how Picoult wanted it to end.

Ashlee (ashlee_) | 83 comments 19 Minutes, Salem Falls, Plain Truth are a few of my favorites! Also, which book of hers is the one where the girl has an imaginary friend that is God? Is it Keeping Faith or Vanishing acts? can't remember off the top of my head, but I really want to read it!

message 87: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Hi, Terri-

I absolutely love My Sister's Keeper!

message 94: by Katy (new)

Katy (katybean27) | 9 comments I just started The Tenth Circle last night. So far, so good, but I'm only a little ways in. There's a character named Zephyr, and I have a niece named Zephyr, so it's kind of strange for me to read about a whole different Zephyr. That name is not exactly common.

message 95: by Ashlee (new)

Ashlee (ashlee_) | 83 comments I enjoyed the Tenth Circle. Not my favorite JP book, but it's not bad.

message 96: by Katy (new)
