you're right. but somehow, something tells me that stephanie meyer didn't really mean to use the word sparkle... she just ran out of words...
she doesn't know what a thesaurus is...
she probably thinks that the thesaurus is a dinosaur.lol
i hate twilight because practically, my friends are trying to gag me with twilightness..ewwww

honey, she IS making stuff up.. she's a writer, an author who probably doesn't have an internet connection or has no proper education or have gotten pregnant instead of going to school, just like her BELLA *shivers. She didn't research, just like what any other sensible writers would do, about her subjects.

1) (the obvious one) These vampires are Stephanie Mayer's creations. She can do whatever she wants with them!
2) Theyre supposed to be all romance-filled. Spa..."
what books have you read?
do you know who anne rice is?
do you know that she's not a rice dish?
if you read anne rice's novels you will definitely see romance in a deeper sense.
Twilight is a lame attempt.

no WTF!?
maybe the title should not be twilight but VELVET (sounds porn-y)

vampires are, yes, may be a fiction but a CLASSIC one.
It's like writing a whole new story about Jesus Christ.
SM should respect the well established grounds of being a vampire
she should know that being an author, you should have the respect for your characters and their origin.

lol XD
OMG we were presenting book reports and everytime someone was doing a twilight book she would roll her eyesd lol

LOL That's like the chicks at my school. I give a report on Lord of the Flies and they come back with Twilight (guess which one my teacher is a bigger fan of, though >_>).

Our staff is pretty divided. My sissy and prissy grammar teacher once went to school wearing a Twilight shirt. But my club moderator (The Creative Writers' Guild) calls Twilight "an old wife's wet dream".
And about the classes: in my class a group loves Twilight, a group loathes Twilight and the rest don't care. And the pro-Twilights are thankfully not hardcore fans and respect the anti-Twilights.
The rest of the high school though...60% of them are fans, 40% are Twi-hards. Proof? I see a Twilight book at least 3 times a day. :((

I hated Maximum Ride. "
*another gasp* HOW COULD U HATE MAX RIDE?!?
Kidding. XD I liked it pretty well but after the first book, it got a little...weird. I don't even know a word for it.

and I hated the last one.

You know, I actually kind of liked Iggy. He was to me in Max Ride what Jacob is in Twilight. ^^
