Im a bit delerious....
she is perfect except for clumsyness, which if overemphasized.
Actually, I don't find her a perfect example because Bella herself emphasises it so much that it's obvious she's just using it as a {sad attempt for a} character trait. ^^ If it were more belivable--as in, if she didn't use phrases like "But of course, I had to slip because I'm so clumsy"--then I might belive it.

She didn't research, just like what any other sensible writers would do, about her subjects.

do you know who anne rice is?
do you know that she's not a rice dish?
if you read anne rice's novels you will definitely see romance in a deeper sense.
Twilight is a lame attempt.
all i read in this story is velvet him, velvet that, velvet voice, perfect velvetno WTF!?
maybe the title should not be twilight but VELVET (sounds porn-y)

SM should respect the well established grounds of being a vampire
she should know that being an author, you should have the respect for your characters and their origin.

LOL That's like the chicks at my school. I give a report on Lord of the Flies and they come back with Twilight (guess which one my teacher is a bigger fan of, though >_>).

And about the classes: in my class a group loves Twilight, a group loathes Twilight and the rest don't care. And the pro-Twilights are thankfully not hardcore fans and respect the anti-Twilights.
The rest of the high school though...60% of them are fans, 40% are Twi-hards. Proof? I see a Twilight book at least 3 times a day. :((

Kidding. XD I liked it pretty well but after the first book, it got a little...weird. I don't even know a word for it.
I didn't get the second one. I mean,s eriously. And the first one got too rushed- It didn't make sense. Why were her thoughts on TV screens? How the hell did 'the voice' get inside her head? gaah! and the characters wern't well drawn out. Where are Max's flaws? and hawks come save them? seriously. and I hated the last one.
Yeah, I didn't get it, either! Really, I think the voice in Max's head is just a lame excuse for a plot device (in some cases, that is). It just doesn't make since. I mean, I know these kids are basically lab rats--meaning there's going to be something wrong with them--but come on! You know, I actually kind of liked Iggy. He was to me in Max Ride what Jacob is in Twilight. ^^
kinda... and he never resolved the thing between Max and Fang.
