I don't understand what attracts girls to jerkish guys."
OMG! I know aye!
He reached up and unlocked Tessa's hands from around his neck. He drew her gloves off, and they joined her mask and the hairpins on the stone floor of the balcony. He pulled off his own mask next and cast it aside, running his hands through his sweat-dampened hair, pushing it back from his forehead. The lower edge of the mask had left marks across his high cheekbones, like light scars, but when she reached to touch them, he gently caught at her hands and pressed them down.
“No,” he said. “Let me touch you first."

i don't hate Will, the only character I dislike from this series is Nate! I love all the other ones, even Mortmain fascinates me

Here are a few more teasers from the book that CC's tweeted in the past:
********************
Jem from earlier today: "But you are much prettier," Jem said.
Will: "Tess,” he said, and she thought, once again, how no one but him ever called her that. “That is all I think about."
Tessa: “Jem!” she cried again, and when he did not look up, she strode across the room, and wrenched the bow out of his hand. “Jem, stop!"
********************
Will looked at Jem. His eyes were bluer than blue, his cheeks flushed. He said, “Then you have wasted your time.”
Jem stared back at him. “God damn you,” he said, and hit Will across the face, sending him spinning. He didn’t lose his footing, but fetched up against the side of the carriage, his hand to his cheek. His mouth was bleeding. He looked at Jem with total astonishment.
“Get him into the carriage,” Jem said to Tessa, and turned and went back through the red door — to pay for whatever Will had taken, Tessa thought. Will was still staring after him.
“James?” he said.
********************
And lastly: "I would die for you, you know that." - unattributed.
********************

i really hate waiting -.-

i know right!!! i NEVER want the series to end :'(

And for the record, I really, really like Jem...but I am totally Team Will. :) A guy who's witty and takes action, with a bruised heart--what's not to love?

i know, whenever i get a new cassandra clare book, like CoFA i get a bit annoyed because i read it for like 5 hours and i'm done and wanting more but i have to wait for what seems like 20 years :(

dying every day for CP

Will buddies <3"
yay thats 2 to will and 244 to jem hahahaha!
oh well, atleast WE know that will rocks!;) xx

@Stephanie You're keeping an official Team Will/Team Jem tally? Hah!

Hi Cassandra,
Im currently hooked on your The Infernal Devices series (after reading Mortal Instruments) and I have some questions on the series:
1. Will Tessa ever forgive Will for what he said to her on the roof?
Only if he does something that earns her forgiveness.
2. Why is Moby Dick your least favourite book (I loved that book!)?
It's not really my least favorite book, more my least favorite classic. I found it dull!
3.You have previously mentioned (in other questions, on posts) that you believe (in a love triangle) that when Clary picked Jace over Simon it was (in a sense) picking the life of a shadowhunter over the life of a human. With Tessa though, what does Jem and Will stand for as they are both shadowhunters in this case?
They are still two very different people, so choosing either of them is still choosing a different kind of life — with Jem, a more quiet and gentle one, with Will, a more wild and adventurous one. There is also the choice between life and death, since Jem is dying. But structurally, the books don't really work that way — it's not quite so much Tessa's choice, as you'll see after CP.
4.When Tessa describes the kiss on the hand from Jem, she describes it as "a shock going through her" was that shock from startlement or attraction?
Bit of both.
5. Which book do you consider to be steamier City of the Fallen Angels, or Clockworck Prince?
They're both steamier than anything else I've written.
6. Do the titles and images on the book stand for stuff?
The titles certainly do. The covers are not done by me.
7. If the titles on the book did stand for stuff would it be fair to say that Tessa and Jem will end up together as they are the "Prince" and "Princess. And that as Will being the "Angel", gets the first kiss of the angel that begins to then travel down the Herondale bloodline?
No. :) The Clockwork Prince isn't Jem, even if he is on the cover, and the Clockwork Angel really is the angel necklace.
8. Lastly can you promise me that you would not put Tessa with Jem just because in your previous series the girl ended up with a Herondale (I know the chances of you doing this is like 0.1% but I'd still like to hear you promise it as i am Team Will)?
I can't promise anything either way — though hey, at least you tried!
Thank you for writing such amazing books, and raising my expectations in books many steps higher (only four authors have been able to do this for me and your definelty on of them!). I adore your style of wrting and am dying for the rest of your books to be released!!! :)
I am glad you enjoyed them.
Cassie

It gives kind of a hidden hint <.< haha.

O: CoFA disappointed me too ;~; I feel exactly the same! She should ditch TMI for now and focus on ID xD

cuz Jace completely changed..the villain sucked and the whole bok seemed a bit messy. ID characters more interesting!

People have already said that to Cassie ;p she replied and said 'I promise you that Jem would be that forward :D' something along those lines.
