Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahaha. What's your favorite kind?

message 154: by [deleted user] (new)

My mom wants me to be publisist (sp?) but I still want to work for the government... :) (Same world; different visons.)

message 155: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments I love my mom's chocolate banana cake with homemade whipped cream. You don't know what amazing is until you've had it. It's our family's birthday cake tradition. I also love chocolate lava/souffle cakes. They're a close second.

message 156: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments That actually sounds really good. :) I'm plain- I haven't had fancy cakes like that. But Red Velvet cake is high up on my list. :)

message 157: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Red Velvet is pretty good...but nothing compares to chocolate banana cake. I'm glad you acknowledge the amazing-sounding-ness of it.

message 158: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments You are quite welcome for my acknowledgement of it.

message 159: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca I want to be lawyer. I am so good at getting out of trouble and twisting words which probably isn't something to be proud of

Hey Rebecca,

I think that's so fantastic that you want to be a lawyer. It would certainly be a very intriguing career.
By the way, I'd be proud of that skill if I were you. I'd love to be good at getting myself out of trouble...haha. :D

message 161: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments That sounds like a sweet career, Rebecca. Good luck. :)

message 162: by Baxter (new)

Baxter (julietrocksmysocks) | 383 comments I'd really like to be a video game journalist when I grow up. Partly because video games are my first, and biggest passion, and partly because there just isn't very much good journalism in the field.

message 163: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments What would you write about?

message 164: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Video Games probably. :)

message 165: by Baxter (last edited Mar 03, 2011 06:49PM) (new)

Baxter (julietrocksmysocks) | 383 comments Kate wrote: "What would you write about?"

Well, at least when it comes to video game journalism, you are almost always at least part critic. So mostly reviews of games. But also, I'd love to be able to write articles about the theory of game design, arguments for and against specific mechanics, and stuff like that. Generally just do my part to help move forward the idea that video games can (and sometimes are) be a serious form of art.

message 166: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth Johnson | 34 comments I want to write books at a higher reading level for younger children like my cousin is ten she reads at my frading level or higher but really shouldn't be reading the same things as a highschooler would.

message 167: by ɐzzıɹʞ (new)

ɐzzıɹʞ lol that's great Lizzy..

message 168: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments That's truly a great idea, lizzy.

message 169: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments That sounds really cool Baxter.

That's a great idea, Lizzy. I had a lot of trouble with that when I was little.

message 170: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth Johnson | 34 comments exactly
thanks for the support

message 171: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments You're welcome. :)

message 172: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments You are quite welcome.

I ruined a LOT of books when I was younger, because I was able to read them, but wasn't old enough to actually. I still refuse to touch Nancy Drew books, because I read one in Kindergarten, which was way too early, even though I could read the words. And don't even get me started on Freddy the Detective..........I am still terrified of that book......

message 173: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahhaah, I read pretty much on my age level (or, stuck to the kids sections) until i hit 5th grade. lolz

message 174: by Lulu (new)

Lulu | 1 comments Let me think... being a fashion designer would be so cool. I totally can see myself singing as my career. I do have a bunch to learn until I do something like that! What I do know is that whatever I end up doing, I'll be married to Justin Bieber.

message 175: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 4295 comments Mod
Married to Bustin Jeebers? *eyetwitch*
Being a fashion designer would be amazingly awesome

message 176: by Rebekah Faith (new)

message 179: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Why thank you. I got halfway through the 2nd Act before I had to get off.

message 180: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments I managed to finish the first act of AVPM this morning. But that's not a good thing since I'm supposed to be working.

message 181: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahaha, nice. I have a couple more parts to get through.

I love softball too. (I have tryouts starting on Monday, which are my first ever for any sport, and I'm really scared)

Why is that weird Emma?

message 184: by Emma (new)

Emma | 17 comments because it sounds weird...

message 185: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments No it doesn't.

message 186: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid It sounds fascinating! You should do it.
When I grow up...
What a question!
I don't know what I really want. I know that I want to write, but I don't care about publishing or anything. I just want to write because I love writing. I know that I want to go to university and take English and History because I love those subjects, but I don't know what I would do with them afterwords.

message 187: by Meri Kate (new)

Meri Kate (booksandsunshine) I would love to live in a cottage-style house with a beautiful garden and lots of books, working as either a librarian or elementary school teacher. Maybe retire and open up my own old book store, writing novels and making art on the side.

Memoriesofthefuture | 3 comments I don't know what exactly I want to do, but I'm pretty sure it will be in the English field. I will probably become an English teacher, but I would love to be a young adult novel copy editor. I want to live in a nice sized home, with a nice backyard, and lots of books. I would love to own a bookstore, but I can't really see that happening.

message 189: by Lisa (new)

Lisa | 29 comments My dream is to travel to Africa and work in a rehabilitation centre for child soldiers. I don't know how long I'd be there but when I got back I would go to a culinary school and then open up a little bakery/coffee shop/bookstore. For my first place, I'd love a condo in downtown Vancouver (although nowadays I'd need to be damn rich for that!!) and eventually a house there. I'd love a summer home somewhere.. not really picky about where. I'd be happily married and possibly have kids? I havn't really decided if I want kids yet, haha!

Oh and I'd travel the world.
This is never going to happen but a girl can dream, right? ;)

Ingrid Georgette wrote: "anything and everything. im a person who changes their mind ALOT. i think im going to have to start writing some of my crazy future flans so that i can at least remember them"

Yeah, that sounds like me, Georgette.

But, like Angela, I'd love to travel the world. I adore traveling and would love to do more of it.

message 191: by [deleted user] (new)

My dream is to have a family, to marry, to raise my children, and to become a well known author/and or illustrator of books. And to live either near the ocean or somewhere where nature is admired. :)

message 196: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) No judging here, and those are good ambatious goals and if you don't shoot for the stars you don't know what you are missing and will always wonder what if? So, good luck! :)

message 197: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments The only 'judging' I'd to, Tori, is wonder why you wouldn't shoot for being lead dancer. *doesn't know how these things work*

message 198: by Tori (new)

Tori Haas Thanks haha I've always Loved Dancing and I'm currently planing for Hip hop classes .. I don't really know I guess one of the places I'd start is backround dancer ...Time will tell haha

message 199: by [deleted user] (new)

My future, well for starters i want to finish high school with good grades then when i've graduated, i want to go to vetinary school, do all my schooling, then hopefully become a vet.
i would love to live in a house near the beach and close to work, i want to look out onto the waves and smell the fresh air, and go for walks everyday with either a Lab or a Rotweeiler.(sorry i cant spell its holidays, im on a break)
as for children, i only want one girl, i dont know what i would call her, but i dont want a child until im settled down in a house and happy. but i would let her have anything she wants, and i would treat her with respect but at the same time have rules.
plus i want to meet Mr. Right, he would have to be perfect for me and not leave me on my own.
i would want to stay in touch with family, save money not spend it all but i want to have fun too. and keep all the friends i have now.
But if vetinary school doesn't work out than i dont know. ill think of something when the time comes, but i dont have to worry because im happy living in the present. (still sorry about my spelling if its wrong)
