What is a juggalo? Let me think for a second:
He's a fan of Psychopathic records and (pardon my language) don't give a shit what people think of him.
The term Juggalo originated from the Insane Clown Posse's song The Juggla. We are a family- not a gang as many people relate us to.
Violent J(Joseph Bruce) and Shaggy 2 Dope(Joseph Utsler) weren't popular in school. They grew up in Detroit Michigan surrounded by drugs and violence. They started out as tag team wrestlers known as the JJ Boys. They also released a song called "Party at The Top of The Hill" under the same name. They hadn't started a professional career at wrestling or singing though. Bruce lived with Utsler.
Wanting to feel he belong, Bruce started a gang which he called the Inner City Posse. The group included Utsler and a few of Bruce's friends. Bruce got 90 days in jail for gang related violence.
Opun being released, he began to lie low with the gang. He pursued his wrestling career and became professional. Psychopathic records was started by Bruce's brother's friend. They all went to jail another time for more gang violense before completly giving up on the gang. The group performed at night clubs as Violent J and 2 Dope. They kept the initials "i.c.p." and changed their name to the Insane Clown Posse. They started wearing face paint.
That was the Insane Clown Posse's past. Now for more of the meaning of Juggalo-
Many people associate juggalos with gang violence just because some people take the psychopathic music litterally and murder people. Violent J even said in interviews that the music was just means of entertainment. The horror of the music was the way to release the anger they had built up inside of them. Many of their songs are actually in the point-of-view of someone like a crazy homicidal lunatic or a predator. There are many postitive lines in their music if you are willing to think positivly about the group.
Basicly, instead of giving teenagers away to gang life and an inevitable future in jail, they give teenagers a 'family' that they will be excepted amungst. A family that understands how it feels to be exciled from a happy life. It gives teenagers a feeling that they truly belong- reducing suicide and a bit of gang violence. ICP does not encourage violence amung anybody- they just had to find a common theme for the music and a way to release anger.
A juggalo is a family. Just about every race in the juggalo group. Black, White, Mexican, Indian, EVERYTHING! Gays, straights, bisexuals, etc, are all found umungst the juggalos. :)

Hehe now the challenge question for friend requesting me is "what is a juggalo" and so far it's one for one!
The one I got from my stalker said: "And insane motherfucking clown" :)

Also, some of us try to rid the world of problems and slaughter enemies. Crimes are a part of life in our family as people hate on us. We aren't bad people, only driven to do bad things by people who don't understand us.
I hope this has helped you on your search for answers.
